Playbook Admin Views

There are four views you can access immediately after creating your plan: Configuration, Matrix, Kanban, and Calendar views. You can switch between them by clicking on the corresponding icon at the top right side of your plan.

Configuration View

The Configuration view is where we initially set up the plan and added packages and sub-packages. The Playbook Manager and Playbook Admin can return to this view to adjust the plan, edit attributes, or modify permissions by clicking on the cog icon at the top right corner of any other view.

To exit the Configuration view, select "Update" to save your edits, or "Cancel" to discard them.

Matrix View

To enter the Matrix view from any other view, click on the table icon.

The Matrix view provides an overview of the entire plan. From here, you can add or manage tasks, monitor and change the status of your packages. We will cover these actions in further articles.

Initially, you will only see the main packages of your plan. To access sub-packages, click on the chevron icon () inside the package you are interested in. You can distinguish packages from sub-packages by colour and serial number. Note that if you can't see the chevron, it means that particular package doesn't have any sub-packages.

Kanban View

To access Kanban view click on the icon with three rectangles.

This view separates tasks based on their status, giving you an immediate insight into which tasks are in progress and which have been completed. You can find out more about setting up tasks in this article.

Calendar View

To access the Calendar View, click on the Calendar icon at the top right of the form.


In the Calendar view, you can view tasks organized by their due dates. You can switch between daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly modes using the icons shown below.
