Copy File Link

The 'Copy File Link' option lets you copy the link to the selected file. There are two types of file links in Asite. Click a relevant link to continue:

You need to follow the steps to share a link with users who can access the file on Asite (Refer to steps 4 and 5).

  2. Share a Link With Users Not Having Access to the File on Asite
You need to follow the steps to share a link with users who cannot access the file on Asite (Refer to steps 1 to 7 if required, then steps 11 and 12).

View Online

The 'View Online' option lets you view the selected file on the Asite Web application. Click here to explore various options in the Asite File Viewer.

View Metadata

  1. Navigate to the aDrive Desktop folder in File Explorer.

  2. Right-click the file whose metadata you want to view or edit.

  3. From the context menu, select aDrive.

    • If the option is not visible, click Show more options, then hover over aDrive.

  4. Click View Metadata.

The Metadata Panel will open, where you can view or update the file’s metadata.

NOTE:

  • You can also access metadata directly from the aDrive Desktop application by clicking the i (info) icon. This opens the Metadata Panel, where you can view the file’s standard and custom attributes.

  • If you open metadata for an older file version, a message will appear, indicating that a newer version of the file is available.
