Assigning user roles

Step-by-Step Guide: Assigning a User to a Role

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have the following:

  • Access to Asite Marketplace

  • Admin Permissions – You must have the appropriate admin rights to manage user roles.

Step 1: Log in to the Asite Platform

  1. Open your preferred web browser and navigate to the Asite Marketplace platform.

  2. Click ‘Login’ in the top-right corner of the homepage.

  3. A login pop-up will appear. Enter the following credentials:

    • Email Address

    • Password
      Tip: If you’ve forgotten your password, click ‘Forgot Password?’ to reset it.

  4. Click ‘Login’ to proceed.

  5. Upon successful login, you’ll return to the homepage. You should now see your name and last login timestamp in the top-right corner.

Step 2: Navigate to your initials on top right of page and select Adoddle view from the drop down

  1. Navigate to the projects table

  2. Right click the project hyperlink – roles and user – user roles and access

  3. You are now ready to add users to the following roles

Buyer/Engineer/Project Manager/Vendor

Step 5: Confirm Assignment

  1. Once saved, you should see the newly assigned role listed in the user’s profile.

  2. You can log in as the user (if permitted) or ask them to verify access to their new permissions.
