Add Attachments/Files to Mail from aMail

This article explains how to attach files directly from Asite to your emails in Outlook Web using the aMail add-in.

  1. Click New in Outlook to create a new email draft.

  2. In the new mail window, locate the aMail icon in the ribbon menu and click on it.

  3. When you click the aMail icon, the aMail panel will appear on the right-hand side of your screen. Here, you’ll see a list of all the Asite folders you have access to.

    • Use the Search bar to quickly find a specific folder.

  4. Click the Blue-arrow icon in the upper right corner to expand and view all files available in that folder.

  5. From the displayed list, select the folders and then the file(s) you wish to attach to your email.

  6. Once you’ve selected the desired file(s), tick the checkbox labelled Attach file.​

  7. Click Add to attach the selected file(s) to your email.

    1. When a folder does not allow public links, aMail gives the user a private link by default when they share a file.

    2. When a folder allows public links, aMail gives the user a public link by default when they share a file.

  8. The files will now appear as attachments in your Outlook email draft.
