Getting Started with the Asite Authentication Gateway
The Asite Authentication Gateway (Auth Gateway) is a secure authentication gateway that allows you to log in to both Asite and 3D Repo using a single set of credentials. With Auth Gateway, you only need to sign in once, saving time and removing the need to manage multiple accounts and passwords.
This single sign-on (SSO) experience makes it easier and more secure for users and project teams to access both platforms seamlessly.
Overview
The Asite Authentication Gateway acts as a unified login system between Asite and 3D Repo.
Once logged in through the gateway, you can seamlessly switch between both platforms without logging in again.

How It Works
When an organisation is created or enabled for the Auth Gateway, users associated with that organisation will log in through the Asite Auth Gateway instead of using separate credentials for each platform.
Once authenticated, Auth Gateway issues secure access tokens that allow you to access both Asite and 3D Repo in the same browser session, without the need to re-enter your credentials.
How Users Get Access
When a Project Admin Creates a New User
The Project Admin creates a user within an organisation that has the Auth Gateway enabled.
The system automatically creates the same user in the Auth Gateway.
The user receives an activation email with a link to set their password.
Clicking the link opens the Auth Gateway, where the user sets their password.
After activation, the user can log in via authgateway.asite.com to access both Asite and 3D Repo.
The email template for activation is managed through the Admin Portal and may vary based on configuration.
