What Is the Auto Calibration Tool?
The Auto Calibration Tool uses AI to detect rooms or areas on a floor plan and automatically create sub-locations. This reduces the manual work required to calibrate drawings and helps produce consistent location data.

NOTE: The user must be located in the UK region.
How Do I Calibrate a Floor Plan Using the Auto Calibration Tool?
Select the required Project.

Click More.

Select Field from the dropdown.
Add a new location or select an existing location.
For more information, check Add a Location in a Project.

NOTE: Auto Calibration is only available for locations without existing sub-locations or calibrated floor plans. The uploaded floor plan must be uncalibrated.
Upload the floor plan.

Click Select File(s) to select a file.
NOTE: The Auto Calibration Tool supports PDF floor plans only.
Click Upload.
Click the Floor Plan
icon next to a location to display its floor plan.
TIP: The Floor Plan
icon indicates the calibration status:Green - Calibrated floor plan.

Blue - Uncalibrated floor plan.
Click Calibration Mode (top-right).
NOTE: Calibration Mode may take a few seconds to activate. The button will turn blue when calibration is active.

The Calibration window will appear and the Auto Calibration Tool will detect areas on the floor plan and create sub-locations.

After calibration, a pop-up will appear where the detected sub-location names can be reviewed and edited.

Select a suggested name for each location or enter a custom name.
Click Next to review the next sub-location.
After reviewing the names, click Save & Close.
Managing Calibrated Sub-Locations
After calibration, the detected sub-locations can be reviewed and adjusted using the left panel and calibration toolbar.

Available Actions After Calibration
Select a sub-location to edit its name.
Click the Delete
icon next to a sub-location to remove it. 
Use Sort by to arrange sub-locations alphabetically or in reverse alphabetical order.

Use Undo and Redo to manage recent changes.

Use Zoom In and Zoom Out to adjust the zoom level.

Hover over a sub-location in the left panel to highlight the corresponding area on the floor plan.

Use the side toolbar to make additional changes to the calibrated floor plan.

TIP: Hover over a tool in the side toolbar to view its name and function. 
After making the required changes, click Save Calibration to save the updated calibration.
Calibration Toolbar Options:
Option | Description |
Add Location | Add a new sub-location or room to the floor plan. |
Edit Location | Allows the boundary of a selected location to be manually recalibrated by adjusting its points on the drawing.

Merge Location | Merges two or more locations into a single location. |
Split Location | Splits a selected location into multiple locations. |
Pan Mode | Allows the floor plan to be moved by dragging the view. |
Delete | Removes a selected location. |
Reset Zoom | Resets the floor plan zoom level. |
Export | Exports the floor plan. |
Settings | Opens additional settings for managing the floor plan display and behaviour:

Undo or Redo | Undoes or redoes recent actions. |
Edit a Location Manually
Click Edit Location.

Select a location from the left panel.
The selected location will be highlighted and available for editing on the drawing.

Drag the points on the drawing to adjust and recalibrate the location boundary.
Floor Plan Viewer Options
The floor plan viewer provides additional options for navigating, viewing, and managing floor plan information. 
Left-Side Options

Pan Mode | Allows the floor plan to be moved by dragging the view. |
Zoom Percentage | Displays the current zoom percentage. |

Save | Saves calibration changes. |
Select | Allows elements on the drawing to be selected. |
Right-Side Options

Show ID | Displays the IDs of location-enabled Forms on the drawing. |
Show Form Code | Displays the Form codes of location-enabled Forms associated with the drawing. |
Manage Type | Allows existing location-enabled Forms associated with the drawing to be managed. |
Add Drawing | Adds a new floor plan for calibration. |
List View | Displays location-enabled Forms in a list view. |
Drawing View | Returns to the drawing view from the list view. |
Edit | Allows the floor plan to be manually edited. |
Defect | Creates a new location-enabled Form associated with the drawing. |
Hide | Hides the calibration overlay and displays the original drawing for comparison. |
