Manage Rows and Columns in Playbook

This article will explain how to access and use the three-dot menu options available for column and row headers in a Playbook Plan.


How Do I Manage my Rows and Columns in Playbook?

The three-dot menu provides access to additional actions for managing columns and rows within a Playbook Plan.


Access the Three-Dot Menu

  1. Open the Playbook Plan.

  2. Click the Edit icon (top-right).

  3. Locate the required column or row header.

    • Column header tiles:

  4. Click the three-dot menu on the header tile.

  5. A list of options will appear for you to select from.


Column Header Options

Option

Edit Column Details

Opens the column configuration to update the column name and settings.

Customise Colour

Allows the column colour to be updated for visual identification.

Insert Column Before

Inserts a new column before the selected column.

Insert Column After

Inserts a new column after the selected column.

Copy Column

Copies the selected column, including its Packages and Subpackages, so it can be pasted elsewhere in the Playbook Plan. Stage dates will be left blank.

Apply Attribute Sets

Applies attribute sets to the column for structured data configuration.

Delete Column

Removes the column from the Playbook Plan.

TIP: Once a column has been copied, the Paste Column option will appear in the column three-dot menu, allowing it to be pasted where required.


Row Header Options

Edit Row Details

Opens the row configuration to update the row name and settings.

Copy Row

Copies the selected row, including its Packages and Subpackages, so it can be pasted elsewhere in the Playbook Plan.

Insert Row Above

Inserts a new row above the selected row.

Insert Row Below

Inserts a new row below the selected row.

Apply Attribute Sets

Applies attribute sets to the row.

Delete Row

Removes the row from the Playbook Plan.

TIP: Once a row has been copied, the Paste Row option will appear in the row three-dot menu, allowing it to be pasted where required.
