Can Create New Users and Organisation – Own Org | The Can Create New Users and Organisation role privilege is required to enable GEO & IP-Based Access Control. Contact support@asite.com to request the required privilege. |
NOTE: The Country and Network Access feature is currently available only in the KSA region. For access or further assistance, contact support@asite.com.
Overview
Country and Network Access Control allows organisations to restrict access to Asite based on approved Countries and IP address. This helps protect sensitive information and meet security and compliance requirements.
The feature supports two levels of access control:
Organisation Level: Administrators can configure permitted countries and optional IPv4 address ranges for the entire organisation.
Project Level: The CDE team can apply additional restrictions to specific projects.
NOTE: Organisation-level restrictions apply to all projects and cannot be overridden by Project-level restrictions. Users must meet both Organisation-level and Project-level requirements to access a restricted project.
Enable Country and Network Access at the Organisation-level
Log in to Asite with the required administrative privileges.
Navigate to the Admin tab in the Portal.
If not available on the main menu, click More.
Open the Country & Network Access settings.
Switch on Enable Organisation-level location & network-based access.
Select the Country/ies from the dropdown menu and add IPv4 address/es (optional).
NOTE: Users can select multiple countries and IPv4 addresses.
Click Save Settings to apply restrictions.
The settings will be applied. Users registered with the Organisation will be required to log in from the Allowed Country and Allowed Network.
TIP: To Disable the restrictions, open the same settings, disable the restrictions, and Save the changes.
