Coming Soon! - 1 November 2026 Release

Dear User,

We're pleased to share key feature enhancements and platform improvements which will be released on 1 November 2026.

Asite Platform

Geo & IP-based Access Control for Organisation and Project Security

Users can now enable geographic and IP-based access controls, allowing organisations to restrict platform access to approved countries and trusted IP ranges, with additional restrictions for sensitive projects.

Access is validated during login and whenever users access projects, files, forms, or tasks, helping prevent unauthorised access. Backend audit logs also maintain an immutable record of access control changes, strengthening security, supporting compliance, and giving organisations greater control over sensitive project data.

Updated Font Handling for Forms (expected in mid-November)

To ensure licensing compliance, several fonts have been removed across the platform, including Century Gothic, Impact, Bookman Old Style, Garamond, Trebuchet MS, Comic Sans MS, Arial Black, Palatino Linotype, Georgia, Verdana, and Calibri. While this is a platform-wide change, it primarily affects how forms are displayed and created. The system now automatically uses the default fonts available on your web browser or mobile device; this ensures that your forms and generated PDFs remain clear, accessible, and consistent across all platforms.

To ensure your forms continue to display correctly on your mobile device, please update to the latest version of the relevant Asite mobile app when prompted.

Common Data Environment (CDE)

Filter and Search Files and Forms by Workflow Stage and Status

Users can now filter and search files and forms by Workflow Stage by entering the required stage in the filter field.

Additionally, a new --- option is available under the existing Workflow Status filter to identify files and forms for which no workflow has been initiated. This helps locate relevant records more quickly.

Standalone Asite AutoCAD Plugin

Users can now install the Asite AutoCAD Plugin independently without requiring Asite Navigator. The plugin allows users to publish open DWG drawings and their associated reference drawings (x-refs) directly from AutoCAD to Asite CDE.

It follows existing folder permissions, revision matching, and workflow rules to ensure drawings are uploaded correctly. The plugin also supports Single Sign-On (SSO) and Secondary Authentication using a TOTP.

Manage Visibility for Private Reviews

Users can now grant view-only access to Private Reviews by adding specific users, roles, organisations, or distribution groups as viewers, without creating an Action Item or triggering notifications.

Viewers can access the review, its associated document, and all comments and replies, including new comments and replies added later. This provides greater flexibility in managing review visibility while maintaining the existing permissions behaviour for public reviews.

Independent Column Customisation for Forms

Users can now save column customisations independently for each form type in the listing. Saved preferences are retained per user and form, ensuring that customising one form does not affect the column settings of another.

This provides a consistent, personalised view whenever users revisit a form, without needing to reconfigure columns.

AI Admin Dashboard: Add/Remove Vectorization

Administrators can now use a centralized dashboard to easily add or remove entire projects, folders, or specific forms from the AI vector database, providing granular control over which data is processed.

Asite Virtual Coworkers

Introducing new Asite Virtual Coworker agents

Asite is introducing new AI Agents under Asite Virtual Coworkers to automate some specific tasks and help users access and manage project information more efficiently.

These agents help users evaluate bids, review Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), validate document metadata, and design visual workflows only by using conversational instructions.

Asite Field

Tasks Module Available Offline in Asite Field

Users can now access the Tasks module in Asite Field while offline. The module displays assigned task actions from downloaded Site Task Forms and Project Forms. Users can search, sort, and filter these actions, making it easier to access assigned tasks and continue site activities without an internet connection.

Enhanced Quality Plan Details in Asite Field

Users can now view more details, such as form and file names, directly in the Quality Plan detailed view in Asite Field.

This update provides better context for each activity within the Quality Plan, helping quality managers review progress and identify issues more quickly.

Link Files and Forms to Quality Plans Offline

Users can now link downloaded files and forms to Quality Cells in Asite Field while offline. Users can search for and select existing files and forms stored on their devices, making it easier to update Quality Plans on-site even when offline. Files and forms must be downloaded for offline use before they can be linked.

Customise Site Task Forms with AppBuilder

Users can now design and customise Site Task Forms using Asite AppBuilder Designer on the web, without relying on custom developer code. This gives users greater flexibility to configure forms specific to their project requirements and makes future updates easier to manage. However, the basic form structure must already be configured in Asite AppBuilder before it can be customised.

aDrive Desktop

Open File Location in File Explorer

Users can now navigate directly to the local folder containing a synced file through Asite using the Show in aDrive Folder option. This makes it easier to locate and access files on the local system without manually browsing through folders.

Open Folder Structure while managing preferences

Users can open the folder structure and locate synced folders through the aDrive application and open their local locations directly in File Explorer.

This simplifies file navigation and helps users quickly access locally available content.

Asite Marketplace

Supplier Performance Review Scheduling

Administrators can now create and manage recurring review schedules for suppliers, ensuring timely performance assessments across different projects. The new "Review Schedule" tab allows for defining review frequencies (Monthly, Quarterly, or 6-Monthly) and pre-selecting specific projects, suppliers, and templates.

Automated notifications and reminders prompt reviewers to complete their actions, while administrators can track progress through a centralised dashboard that displays real-time completion statuses and response counts.

Bulk Supplier Performance Reviews

Reviewers can now conduct supplier performance reviews in bulk, significantly reducing the time and effort required for multiple assessments. A new Reviews tab allows users to select multiple projects and trade commodities to initiate a bulk session, where questions for different suppliers are displayed side-by-side for easy comparison.

Lead reviewers can independently approve, reject, or amend specific reviews within a single batch, and all participants receive automated notifications throughout the workflow.

Visual Indicators for New Documents in Listings

Users can now easily identify new and unread documents on the listings page through a new visual indicator. When a new document, such as a Purchase Order, Quote, or Invoice, is received, it will be displayed in bold text with a "New" badge or icon.

This indicator remains visible until the document is opened, and a new filter option allows users to quickly view only their unread documents, improving response times and overall communication efficiency.

Asite Playbook

Task Acceptance Criteria

You can now define exactly what is needed to finish a task by setting structured requirements, such as mandatory evidence and specific response types (like dates or dropdowns).

This new framework ensures work is completed correctly the first time and includes a formal verification workflow, giving you a clear, auditable way to review and approve every submission.
