Action Required: Update Your Asite Offline Archive in Classic View

Google Chrome is removing support for XSLT on 17 November 2026. As a result, Archive 1.0, which stores project data locally in Classic View format, will stop working in Chrome unless updated. You can also use Mozilla Firefox to view your archive in Classic View format without applying this update.

Follow the steps below to apply the update patch and continue using your offline archive in Google Chrome.

  1. Back up your current files

    1. Open the Arch folder in your archive and copy all .html files into a new folder outside your archive folder.

    2. Copy the js folder from the same Arch folder into that new folder.

Important: Do not skip the backup. If anything goes wrong, it allows you to restore your files back.

  2. Download the archive update patch

    1. Download the update ZIP file:

    2. Extract (unzip) the ZIP file.

  3. Copy the update into your "Arch" folder

    1. If your archive is running, close it in Chrome and close its command window (if open).

    2. Copy all .html files from the patch's Arch folder into your archive's Arch folder. If prompted, choose Replace.

    3. Copy all files from the patch's Arch/js folder into your archive's Arch/js folder. If prompted, choose Replace.

  4. Open your archive

Start your archive as usual and open it in Google Chrome.

Tip: Still seeing the old version? Press Ctrl + F5.
