Description

Can Edit Visibility of Objects

Users with the Can Edit Visibility of Objects role privilege can assign or remove visibility on forms accessible to the user.

TIP: The project must also have Enable Object level visibility of private information enabled.

Assign Visibility on a Form

  1. Right-click the required form and select Visibility.

  2. The Visibility pop-up for the selected form will appear.

  3. Select Message ID from the dropdown.

  4. Select the To field to choose users, distribution groups, roles, or organisations for visibility.

  5. Select Save to apply the visibility settings.

NOTE: When a distribution group, role, or organisation is selected, the object remains associated with the visibility setting. New users added to the object automatically receive access to the form, while users removed from the object lose access.

Remove Visibility from a Form

  1. Right-click the required form and select Visibility.

  2. Locate the user, distribution group, role, or organisation with existing visibility.

  3. Select the corresponding Remove (×) icon.

  4. Select Save.

NOTE: Existing visibility cannot be removed for a user or object while active task assignments exist on the selected form.
