What Is AppBuilder?

  • AppBuilder allows certified designers to create, edit, save, and publish custom Form Templates and Apps within a Project.

  • It uses a drag-and-drop interface to support Form design without requiring programming knowledge.

  • Form Templates are HTML 5.0 compliant and can be designed to work across different screen sizes.

What Are Apps and App Templates in AppBuilder?

  • An App is a collection of interdependent Forms.

  • An App Template is a Form design that can include different Views, such as:

    • Original Message (ORI)

    • Response

    • Print


Main Features of AppBuilder

  • AppBuilder allows certified designers to:

    • Create Form Templates using a point-and-click editor.

    • Add tables, sections, images, and other Form controls.

    • Add logos and customise Form layout and appearance.

    • Configure validation rules and Workflows.

    • Import Word and Excel files.

    • Integrate Forms with web services and Asite.

    • Use application programming interfaces (APIs) and stored procedures to extend Form functionality.

    • Configure Workflows using the Asite Visual Workflow Manager.

  • AppBuilder can be used to create Form Templates for different Project processes, including requests for Project information, design queries, change requests, and contract-specific Forms.

  • Certified Asite AppBuilder Designers can create, edit, and publish custom Form Templates within Projects.

  • Workflows can be configured for Forms created using AppBuilder.

  • Form Templates created using Asite AppBuilder are HTML5 compliant and can adapt to different screen sizes.
