This article helps you understand different editions available in Asite.

Editions dropdown (available at the top right once you log in) in Asite helps you select a context (from a list of options) for which you are using Asite at any given time. Accordingly, you get a tab arrangement or view specific to that context - without any specific functional impact on different features you use in your Asite account.

For example, a contractor working at a construction site may be more involved with the 'Field' tab in Asite (compared to other tabs), so they can set the 'Field' edition as their default edition by selecting it from the 'Editions' dropdown. It will ensure the 'Field' tab remains easily accessible to that user the next time they log in.

The 'Dashboard' tab will remain the default landing area irrespective of the selected edition.

Below is a description of the available editions:

CDE

Selecting the 'CDE' edition displays a tab arrangement specific to the Common Data Environment.
The tab arrangement in the 'CDE' edition is as follows:

'Dashboard', 'Projects', 'Files', 'Project Forms', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Reports', 'Models', 'Procurement', 'Contracts', 'Field', 'Quality', 'Admin', and 'Contacts'.

FM

Selecting the 'FM' edition displays a tab arrangement specific to the Facilities Management module.
The tab arrangement in the 'FM' edition is as follows:

'Dashboard', 'Files', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Contacts', 'Reports', 'Projects', and 'Admin'.

Project Cost

Selecting the 'Project Cost' edition displays a tab arrangement specific to the Project Cost module.
The tab arrangement in the 'Project Cost' edition is as follows:

'Dashboard', 'Contracts', 'Files', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Workflows', 'Reports', 'Admin', and 'Projects'.

Procurement

Selecting the 'Procurement' edition displays a tab arrangement specific to the 'Procurement' module.
The tab arrangement in the 'Procurement' edition is as follows:

'Dashboard', 'Procurement', 'Suppliers', 'Contacts', 'Reports', 'Files', 'Projects', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', and 'Admin'.

Field

Selecting the 'Field' edition displays a tab arrangement specific to the Field module.
The tab arrangement in the 'Field' edition is as follows:

'Dashboard', 'Field', 'Quality', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Files', 'Contacts', 'Reports', 'Projects', and 'Admin'.

Marketplace

Selecting the 'Marketplace' edition displays a tab arrangement specific to the 'Marketplace' module.
The tab arrangement in the 'Marketplace' edition is as follows:

'Dashboard', 'Projects', 'Files', 'Project Forms', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Reports', 'Models', 'Procurement', 'Contracts', 'Field', 'Admin', and 'Contacts'.

APM

Selecting the 'APM' edition displays a tab arrangement specific to the Asset Performance Management module. In the 'APM' edition, 'project' will be known as 'asset'.
The tab arrangement in the 'APM' edition is as follows:

'Dashboard', 'Assets', 'Files', 'Asset Forms', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Reports', 'Models', 'Procurement', 'Contracts', 'Field', 'Quality', 'Admin', and 'Contacts'.

CM

Selecting the 'CM' edition displays a tab arrangement specific to the 'Control Management' module. In the 'CM' edition, 'project forms' will be called 'project controls'.
The tab arrangement in the 'CM' edition is as follows:

'Dashboard', 'Files', 'Project Controls', and 'Reports'.

Architects

Selecting the 'Architects' edition displays a tab arrangement specific to the 'Architects' module. If configured in your project, the 'Submittal' app, will be automatically marked as a favourite and appear under the 'Favourite Forms' gadget in the Dashboard - along with an option to create a new submittal form.

The tab arrangement in the 'Architects' edition is as follows:

'Dashboard', 'Projects', 'Files', 'Submittals', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Models', and 'Reports'.

The 'Architects' edition is available separately and cannot be combined with other editions in Asite. Please speak with your Asite point of contact for more information.

PM

Selecting the 'PM' edition displays a tab arrangement specific to the Project Management module.

The tab arrangement in the 'PM' edition is as follows:

'Dashboard', 'Projects', 'Files', 'Marketplace', 'Submittals', 'Transmittals', 'RFIs', 'Change Orders', 'Workflows', 'Models', 'Reports', 'aMessages', 'Tasks'.

The 'PM' edition is available separately and cannot be combined with other editions in Asite. For more information, please speak with your Asite point of contact.
