Editions

This article helps you understand different editions available in Asite.

Editions dropdown (available at top right once you login) in Asite helps you in selecting a context (from a given list of options) for which you are using Asite at any given time. Accordingly, you get a tab arrangement or view specific to that context - without any specific functional impact to different features you use in your Asite account.

For example, a contractor working at a construction site may be more involved with the 'Sites' tab in Asite (when compared to other tabs), so they can set the 'Sites' edition as their default edition by selecting it from the 'Editions' dropdown. It will ensure 'Sites' tab will remain easily accessible to that user the next time they login.

The 'Dashboard' tab will remain the default landing area irrespective of the selected edition.

Below is a description of the available editions:

CDE

Selecting 'CDE' edition will display a tab arrangement specific to common data environment.
Following is the arrangement of tabs in 'CDE' edition - 'Dashboard', 'Projects', 'Files', 'Project Forms', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Reports' , 'Models', 'Procurement', 'Contracts', 'Sites', 'Quality', 'Admin', 'Contacts'.

FM

Selecting 'FM' edition will display a tab arrangement specific to FM (Facilities Management) module.
Following is the arrangement of tabs in 'FM' edition - 'Dashboard', 'Files', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Contacts', 'Reports', 'Projects', 'Admin'.

Project Cost

Selecting 'Project Cost' edition will display a tab arrangement specific to Project Cost module.
Following is the arrangement of tabs in 'Project Cost' edition - 'Dashboard', 'Contracts', 'Files', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Workflows', 'Reports', 'Admin', 'Projects'.

Procurement

Selecting 'Procurement' edition will display a tab arrangement specific to Procurement module.
Following is the arrangement of tabs in 'Procurement' edition - 'Dashboard', 'Procurement', 'Suppliers', 'Contacts', 'Reports', 'Files', 'Projects', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Admin'.

Sites

Selecting 'Sites' edition will display a tab arrangement specific to Sites module.
Following is the arrangement of tabs in 'Sites' edition - 'Dashboard', 'Sites', 'Quality', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Files', 'Contacts', 'Reports', 'Projects', 'Admin'.

Marketplace

Selecting 'Marketplace' edition will display a tab arrangement specific to Marketplace module.
Following is the arrangement of tabs in 'Marketplace' edition - 'Dashboard', 'Projects', 'Files', 'Project Forms', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Reports', 'Models', 'Procurement', 'Contracts', 'Sites', 'Admin', 'Contacts'.

APM

Selecting 'APM' edition will display a tab arrangement specific to APM (Asset Performance Management) module. In this specific edition, 'project' will be known as 'asset'.
Following is the arrangement of tabs in 'APM' edition - 'Dashboard', 'Assets', 'Files', 'Asset Forms', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Reports', 'Models', 'Procurement', 'Contracts', 'Sites', 'Quality', 'Admin', 'Contacts'.

CM

Selecting CM edition will display a tab arrangement specific to CM (Control Management) module. In this specific edition, 'project forms' will be known as 'project controls'.
Following is the arrangement of tabs in 'CM' edition - 'Dashboard', 'Files', 'Project Controls', 'Reports'.

Architects

'Architects' edition will display a tab arrangement specific to Architects module. 'Submittal' app, if configured in your project, will be automatically marked as favourite and it will appear under 'Favourite Forms' gadget in Dashboard - along-with an option to create new submittal form.

Following is the arrangement of tabs in 'Architects' edition - 'Dashboard', 'Projects', 'Files', 'Submittals', 'Workflows', 'aMessages', 'Tasks', 'Models', 'Reports'.

'Architects' edition is available separately and doesn't work in combination with any other available editions in Asite. Please speak with your Asite point of contact for more information.

PM

'PM' edition will display a tab arrangement specific to PM (Project Management) module.

Following is the arrangement of tabs in 'PM' edition - 'Dashboard', 'Projects', 'Files', 'Marketplace', 'Submittals', 'Transmittals', 'RFIs', 'Change Orders', 'Workflows', 'Models', 'Reports', 'aMessages', 'Tasks'.

'PM' edition is available separately and doesn't work in combination with any other available editions in Asite. Please speak with your Asite point of contact for more information.
