This article helps you understand how to use filter options available for custom attributes.

Users on Asite can filter file records using custom attributes which can be a date or a positive integer.

Filter records using Date

1. After filtering file records using task completion date, task assigned date or task due date, click on filter applied to select a specific date range or time.

2. You can further filter file records by selecting date and time range i.e. task completed within, last or next few minutes, hours, days or weeks.

3. Alternatively you can also filter file records on which task is completed between specific dates.

4. You can also filter out file records on which tasks are completed on a particular date.

5. Select 'Blank' option if you need to filter records where the value in custom attributes are not set.

6. Click on 'Update' to apply the filter criteria, 'Close' to close this menu and 'Reset' to reset the choices made in this menu.

Filter records using Positive Integer

1. In files listing view, click on 'Create Filter' and select a custom attribute which has values in positive integers.

2. Click on the custom attribute selected right below search box to select a range or exact value.

3. Select the 'Between' radio button to filter records between two given positive values of integers i.e. between 5 to 10 or 2 to 6.

4. Select exact radio button to filter records having a specific positive integer value in selected custom attribute i.e. exact 4 or 6.

5. Select 'Blank' option if you need to filter records where the value in custom attributes are not set.

6. Click on 'Update' to filter the records using the custom attribute filter.
