Right-click on the folder and select 'Watch > Edit Settings' to edit the watch configuration for activities performed on the selected project folder. This option will be available only for project folders in which 'Start Watching' is already enabled.

This will open a layered page with the title 'Alert Settings'.

Watch all revisions / Watch latest revision - Select a single option to decide how watching should work for the files in the selected project folder.

Watch all revisions - To enable watching all the revisions for the document reference of a file. This option is selected by default.

Watch latest revision - Enable watching the latest file revision only. If a new revision is published, watching will stop for the previous revision and start for the newer (latest) revision.

Watch all sub-folders - To include all existing sub-folders and newly created sub-folders in the watch.

Instant Notification - To enable instant notifications for activities performed by other users on the selected folder.

Instant notification will appear as a browser notification popup on your screen, based on browser compatibility.

Browser notification is currently supported in 'Microsoft Edge' (Version 15 and higher), the latest versions of 'Google Chrome', 'Mozilla Firefox', and 'Apple Safari'.

For all supported browsers, a prompt will appear asking you to grant permission to get browser notifications once you are successfully logged in on Asite. Based on your response, a prompt may reappear the next time you log in on Asite.

Each browser notification popup will have a visibility period of 5 seconds.

For activities performed in batches, there will be a single instant notification per batch activity.

Once logged in on Asite, you can also access instant notifications by clicking the bell icon at the top right of the screen.

Click the 'Clear All' link at the top right to clear all notifications. Cleared notifications cannot be retrieved.

Email Notification - To enable email notifications based on the frequency defined for activities configured.

Frequency - You can set the email notification for activities configured at a defined frequency, immediately or daily. If you select 'Daily' frequency, you can select a specific time for receiving notifications from the available dropdown.

Select All - Select all available activities for watching project folders.

Files

Revision Upload - To receive notifications regarding the upload of file revisions.

New File Upload - To receive notifications regarding the upload of new files.

Status Change - To receive notifications regarding status changes on files.

Discussions - To receive notifications regarding aMessages created on files.

Sharing / Edits

Distribution - To receive notifications regarding the distribution of files.

File Linking - To receive notifications regarding the linking of files.

Edit Attributes - To receive notifications regarding editing of file attributes.

Actions

Deactivate File - To receive notifications regarding deactivation of files.

Reactivate File - To receive notifications regarding the reactivation of any deactivated files.

Clear Task - To receive notifications regarding cleared tasks on files.

Deactivate Task - To receive notifications regarding the deactivation of tasks on files.

Reactivate Task - To receive notifications regarding reactivating any deactivated tasks on files.

Folders

Edit Folder - To receive notifications regarding editing of folders.

Deactivate Folder - To receive notifications regarding deactivation of folders.

Move Folder - To receive notifications regarding the moving of folders.

Once required changes are made, click the 'Update' button to apply those changes.
