Understanding Save Email Preferences

In the aMail panel, you can choose how emails and attachments are saved:

  • Save email with attachments

    • Saves the email and all attachments in the selected folder. The email is stored as the primary file in Asite with attachments linked as secondary files.

    • Optional: Save attachment as separate file: store the email and each attachment as individual files instead of grouped.

  • Save email without attachments

    • Saves only the email without any attachments.

  • Save attachments only

    • Saves only the attachments without the email.

    • If there multiple attachments, they are saved as a zip file named after the email subject.

    • Optional: Save attachment as separate file: saves each attachment individually.

Settings: Select Location

  • After selecting your email preference, click Choose Location to select where the email will be saved.

  • Use the drop-down to pick from your most recently used or favourite folders in Asite. By default, the top 10 folders from these lists are shown.

NOTE: To view all projects in Asite, open the drop-down menu in aMail and select All.
