Associate File aMessages While Creating New Forms

This article will explain how to associate aMessages on a file with new forms you'd like to create.

Building Your Form

  1. Open the selected file and click the aMessages icon (top right).

  2. All comments made on the file will be displayed. To associate a form with a comment click the profile icon next to that comment to activate the Create a Form button. (Tip: the profile icon will display a tick as confirmation that the comment has been selected).

  3. Click the Create a Form button(top right).

  4. A list of active form types will be displayed. Click the form you'd like to create. (Tip: Use the search bar to quickly find a form type by entering a keyword from the Form Name, Form Code or Project Name).

  5. The form creation interface will open. Enter the required details as defined in the form design. Available options are dependent on the project's form settings. Any associated file comments will appear at the bottom.

Form Completion Controls

At the bottom of the form, you’ll see additional options:

  • Display Form Print View After Saving: If selected, once you click Send, the form will open in print view.

  • Send: Submits the form directly. If the "Display Form Print View After Saving" option is not selected, the form will open in standard view.

  • Save Draft: Saves the form as a draft so you can return to it later.

  • Cancel: Discards your changes and exits without saving.
