Notifications on Asite

This article will explain the ways users may receive automated notifications from the Asite platform.

Users may receive automated notifications through:

  • The Bell Icon

  • Browser Notifications

  • Email Notifications


Bell Icon Notifications

  • When you log in to Asite, the Bellicon appears in the top-bar.

  • Clicking on the Bellicon displays notifications relevant to your activity on Asite.

  • Clicking a notification opens the relevant task or activity.

  • To clear notifications, click Clear All (top-right).

NOTE: Cleared notifications cannot be retrieved.


Browser Notifications

When logging in for the first time, compatible browsers may ask permission to show notifications.

If allowed:

  • Browser notifications appear for 5 seconds.

  • You will not be asked for permission again unless you revoke it.

  • Batch actions trigger a single notification.

Supported browsers:

  • Microsoft Edge (version 15+).

  • Google Chrome (latest version).

  • Mozilla Firefox.

  • Apple Safari.


Email Notifications

Asite may send email notifications for different actions and system events.

  • Clicking a link in an email will take you to the related screen after login.

How Can I Stop Receiving Email Notifications?

You can control most notifications by adjusting your Email Notification Preferences in your Preference settings.

NOTE: Some notifications cannot be disabled through preferences alone, including:

  • Workflow-related failure notifications

  • System task error notifications
