Create a Dashboard

This article will explain how to create a new dashboard.

  • In Asite, you can create and customise dashboards to suit your work. With the ability to add intuitive gadgets that surface key project insights at a glance, information that matters most is always right in front of you.

  • By default, the System Dashboard will always be displayed, unless a user has marked another dashboard as their default.

  • The dashboard you set as default will open automatically when you sign in.


How Do I Create My Own Dashboard?

  1. On the dashboard screen, click Tools (top right).

  2. Select Create Dashboard.

  3. A layered page will open, enabling you to create a dashboard. Input details as required.

  4. Click Create to finish creating the dashboard.


Available Fields When Creating a Dashboard

Name

Description

Dashboard Title

Name the new dashboard.

Dashboard Description

Add a unique description for the new dashboard.

Set Default

Set the new dashboard as your default.

Share

You can share your new dashboard with:

  • Contacts in your organisation

  • All users within a project

  • A distribution group

To share:

  1. Select the relevant names from the dropdown list.

  2. Right-click on the user, project, or distribution group you've selected.

  3. Choose Admin or View to set their access permissions.

Clone Dashboard

Choose any existing dashboard to clone and apply all its gadgets to the dashboard under creation.
