Search and Filter Projects

This article will explain how to search and filter your projects on Asite.

Users on Asite can filter project records using different search and filter options in the projects listing area.

Each column header has a search/filter option available. By hovering over the required column, a search icon will appear, allowing you to narrow your search.

In the example below, filtering the Name column with the keyword "project" shows only projects that contain this word.

The following list states the standard filter options for projects, along with their descriptions. Each filter has its own input type (dropdown, text box or date picker) and works as described below.

Administrators

Shows projects managed by selected administrators (grouped by organisations).

Search or scroll the dropdown, then select one or more names.

BIM (Building Information Modelling) Status

Sorts projects based on whether BIM is enabled or not.

Choose Yes or No from the dropdown (you can select both).

Cloned From

Presents projects cloned from specific templates.

Search or scroll the dropdown, then select one or more templates.

Country

Filters projects by location.

Search or scroll the dropdown then select one or more countries.

Text Box

Description

Finds projects with matching words or phrases in the description.

Type your keyword(s) into the text box.

Date Picker

End Date

Filters projects by their end date.

Choose before/ after/ between, then pick date(s) from the calendar.

Owner Org

Shows projects owned by selected organisations.

Search or scroll the dropdown then select one or more organisations.

Project Managers

Shows projects managed by selected project manager(s).

Search or scroll the dropdown then select one or more names.

Text Box

Project Name

Finds projects with matching words or phrases in the name.

Type all or part of the name into the text box.

Filters projects by their status.

Choose Open or Archived from the dropdown (you can select both).

Date Picker

Start Date

Filters projects by their start date.

Choose before/ after/ between, then pick date(s) from the calendar.

Tags

Finds projects with matching tags.

Type the tag or keyword into the text box.
