This article shows you how to navigate around the project section of Asite.

Projects Listing - Thumb View

1. Clicking on the 'Projects' tab, you can view all projects accessible to you. The thumb image of the project enables you to identify it visually.

From a listing area, click on the icon to switch to thumb view as and when required. Accordingly, if you are in a thumb view, click the icon to switch to the list view as needed.

2. The project filter applied on the dashboard view gets retained when navigating to the 'Projects' tab.

3. A mouse hover on the project thumbnail view displays related information including the number of files published, the last published date, workspace administrator names, and the project name.

4. Clicking on the project thumbnail, that particular project gets updated in the project filter, and information about only that project will be displayed across all available tabs (until the project filter is changed next time).

5. Project Settings - When you mouse over the project thumb image, it displays various icons. Clicking on the 'gear' icon displays different options related to the selected project.

Projects Listing - Detailed View

Projects list view contains the project's metadata columns which are dynamically based on the columns configured by you for display.

It lets you right-click on the project name and access its functionality directly.

Different project filter options in the 'Projects' tab are described below, along with the name and type of filter.

Filter Name

Filter Description

Administrators (Multiple Choice)

To filter information related to projects where one or more selected users are defined as its administrators, listed based on their organization.

It populates a searchable dropdown list of possible or suggested options for the selected filter from which one or more options can be selected individually.

BIM Status

(Multiple Choice)

To filter information related to projects having 'BIM Enabled' status as on or off.

It populates a searchable dropdown list of possible or suggested options for the selected filter from which one or more options can be selected individually.

Available options - 'Yes', 'No'.

Cloned From

(Multiple Choice)

To filter information related to projects cloned from one of the selected project templates.

It populates a searchable dropdown list of possible or suggested options for the selected filter from which one or more options can be selected individually.

Country

(Multiple Choice)

To filter information related to projects with one of the selected countries as their location.

It populates a searchable dropdown list of possible or suggested options for the selected filter from which one or more options can be selected individually.

Description

(Textbox)

You can type in a word or a phrase and filter information related to projects whose descriptions match that text.

Populates a text box wherein you can enter the required search content.

End Date

(Date Picker)

To filter information related to projects whose end date is within a selected time range, between a selected date range (from a calendar), or a date specifically chosen (from a calendar).

It populates a list of radio button options for the selected filter from which you can choose a single option and fill in the required details.

Owner Org (Multiple Choice)

To filter information related to projects owned by selected organizations.

It populates a searchable dropdown list of possible or suggested options for the selected filter from which one or more options can be selected individually.

Project Managers (Multiple Choice)

To filter information related to projects where one or more selected users are defined as project managers, listed based on their organization.

It populates a searchable dropdown list of possible or suggested options for the selected filter from which one or more options can be selected individually.

Project Name (Textbox)

To type in a word or a phrase and accordingly filter information related to projects having their name matching that particular text.

Populates a text box wherein you can enter the required search content.

Project Status (Multiple Choice)

To filter information related to projects having selected statuses assigned to them.

It populates a searchable dropdown list of possible or suggested options for the selected filter from which one or more options can be selected individually.

Available Options - 'Open', 'Archived'.

Start Date (Date Picker)

To filter information related to projects whose start dates are within a selected time range, or between a selected date range (from a calendar), or a date specifically chosen (from a calendar).

It populates a list of radio button options for the selected filter from which you can choose a single option and fill in the required details.

Tags (Textbox)

To type in a word or a phrase and accordingly filter information related to projects having their tags matching that particular text.

Populates a text box wherein you can enter the required search content.


Mark / Remove Project as Favourite

Any project already marked as your favourite project will show with a (star filled with yellow). Any new project you create gets marked as your favourite project by default.

In the project list view, choose the right-click option 'Mark As Favourite' to mark all selected projects as your favourite. In the project thumb view, click on (star with no color fill) to mark the chosen project as your favourite. Once clicked, the icon will change to a (star filled with yellow).

To remove all selected projects from your favourite while in the list view, choose the right-click option 'Remove As Favourite'. In thumb view, click on (star filled with yellow) displaying on the project thumbnail to remove that particular project from your favourite projects. Once clicked, the icon will change to a (star with no color) which means it is no longer your favourite project.
