In the new window, switch to the Attribute Sets tab.
Find the required attribute set and click Edit (far-right).
Under the attribute set, locate the Status and Default options.
Set Default to No.
At the bottom of the Manage Attributes Set page, review the folder structure.
Blue ticks next to folders indicate where the selected attribute set is currently active.

NOTE: If a folder appears greyed out within the folder structure, it means it's using a different attribute set. To modify it, return to the Configurable Attributes window and view all available attribute sets for the project.
TIP: For subfolders within the project, click the plus (+) icon next to a folder to expand its structure and locate the subfolders where you want to remove the attribute set.
