View and Filter Contacts

This article will show you which contacts are available and how to filter them to find what you need.

Where Can I View My Contacts?

You can view all your available contacts in the Contacts tab.

Types of Contacts Available:

  • Organisation Users: everyone in your organisation.

  • Project Users: all users from projects you have access to.


How Can I Filter My Contacts?

You can filter your contacts to quickly find people or details you need. All filtering tools are available from Filters in the top-right corner of the Contacts tab.


Create a Filter

  1. Go to the Contacts tab.

  2. Click Filters (top right).

  3. Choose the attribute you want to filter by, such as

    • Address

    • Email

    • Full Name

    • Job Title

    • Organization

    • Telephone

    • Time Zone

Your results update instantly based on your selection.


Manage Your Filters

  • Clear - Remove the current filter.

  • Save - Save the current filter for future use.

  • Save as -

    • If a saved filter is active: save it again with a new name.

    • If an unsaved filter is active: you'll be prompted to save it.

  • Edit -

    • If a saved filter is active: edit the filter's name.

    • If an unsaved filter is active: you'll be prompted to save it.

  • Delete -

    • If a saved filter is active: delete it.

    • If an unsaved filter is active: the filter is simply cleared.

EXAMPLE:

If you filter by Full Name, you'll see a list of available names.

In this example:

  • Ben Patel was selected for the filter.

  • Once applied, actions (Clear, Save, Edit, Delete) appeared on the right.


Unsaved Filter

If you switch away from the Contacts tab after applying a filter, it isn't lost.

When you return:

  1. Click Filters (top right).

  2. Select Saved Filters (right-hand side).

  3. The filter you last applied will be listed as Unsaved Filter.
