Associate an aMessage with a Form

This article will explain how to associate an aMessage while creating or editing a form.

Updated yesterday

You can associate existing aMessages from project files (either within the same project or from other projects you have access to) to a form, as long as the form settings permit it.

Associating an aMessage When Creating a Form

  1. Start by creating a form.

  2. Within the created form click the Associateicon (top right).

  3. From the menu, you will have the option to Associate Docs, aMessages or Apps.

    • Each option is controlled separately in the form settings.

    • In example, association can be enabled for only Docs, only aMessages or only Apps. An option will only appear here if it has been enabled in the form's configuration.

NOTE: If form association is disabled in App Settings and later enabled, the change will only apply to newly created forms. Previously created forms will not gain the option to associate Docs, aMessages, or Apps, even after the feature is enabled.

Associating aMessages When Replying to a Form

Users can associate aMessages while replying to a form:

  1. Open the required form and click the Associateicon (top right).

  2. From the pop-up, click Associate aMessages.

  3. A list of all aMessages from the current project and any other accessible projects will appear.

    • (Tip: you can use the search filters at the top to quickly find the required aMessages).

  4. Select the aMessages you want to associate, then click Associate and Close.

    • If you need to associate multiple aMessages from multiple folders, click Associate to confirm the selection in the current folder, then navigate to the next folder. Repeat as needed, and finally click Associate and Close once done.

  5. The associated aMessages will appear at the bottom of the form.
