Upgraded Adoddle Universal Web Viewer: Markup consolidation is now supported thus facilitating collaboration between multiple reviewers and comment coordinators within the design review workflow.
Improved Adoddle cBIM: Adoddle now offers improved orbit navigation within its model file viewer. We have also simplified the upload interface for models. Additionally, support has been added for capturing custom meta-data and executing workflows on models.
Upgraded quick response (QR) code function: Key meta-data, including custom attributes, is now displayed when a QR code is used to check whether the printed drawing on site is the latest version. Moreover, this functionality is now integrated with the Adoddle workflow engine for additional configurability and includes links to easily view the file and revision history.
Introducing online project archiving: Archive your projects as read-only data in the Adoddle cloud ensuring data retention compliance and improved e-discovery.

1. Adoddle Web Application
Adoddle provides a unique and comprehensive set of capabilities in a single, unified environment to manage your Drawings, Project Schedules, BIM Models, Reports and Apps and share information across teams spread across different geographies.
Adoddle allows teams to access, capture, track and re-use data throughout the lifecycle of an asset from Feasibility to Facilities Management.
The following Section provides further details of the Improvements and New Features added to the Platform.
1.1 Adoddle Platform
Discontinuing support for TLS 1.1 from next release: Asite will discontinue support for TLS 1.1 encryption protocol from next release version 20.8. We will continue support for TLS 1.2 (TLS stands for Transport Layer Security). |
1.2 Adoddle Projects

Simplified process of uploading a new file for user having incomplete tasks on placeholders: Users will now be able to upload files on placeholders and without being prompted to complete any pending ‘For Publishing’ tasks on other placeholders.
Support for activity locks on model files: The file activity locks feature is now available for all model files uploaded on Adoddle.
Distribution to groups while creating placeholders: The ability to distribute a placeholder to a distribution group while creating placeholder is now supported.
‘No comment’ on files further simplified: The ‘No Comment’ function available upon right click of single or multiple files is simplified to pre-populate and disable the ‘To’ option, in a way that only the user publishing the file / assigning the task gets notified of the unread aMessage.
Edit Attributes ‘Bulk Apply’ function: The bulk apply function for multiple selection checkbox attributes have now been upgraded. The default behaviour will be that the bulk apply header values will have attributes of the first record pre-selected. A new ‘Reset’ button has been introduced that will clear all pre-selected values in the header section enabling users select required values and apply to the records.
1.4 Adoddle Workflows
Upgraded Adoddle visual workflow engine: Our upgraded workflow engine API allows you to easily convert App data to customised XML for export; thus enabling seamless integration of business-critical information with your back-office systems. Administrators can configure system tasks mapped to the app fields and export output in a desired XML output format. This output file can be delivered externally via mailbox, be it an individual user mailbox or Adoddle CDE project mailbox mapped to a project folder. The XML output provides seamless mechanism to integrate business critical information to back-office systems eliminating the need for dual / manual input. |

2. Adoddle Field
Adoddle Field is a simple, easy-to-use tool that enables project collaboration with contacts and project teams on the move. Sign in with your Adoddle account to publish and share and Mark-up drawings, photos, other files, and issue actions to team members, allowing you to stay on top of time critical review processes. View and mark-up Building Information Models (BIM) in 3D, including the ability to drill down into the components of the model and review discipline-specific elements. Adoddle Field enables you to view and review multiple model files from disparate BIM Authoring toolsets merged into one unified model in Adoddle cBIM in the cloud. Raise RFIs, Defects / Punch lists, or any of the hundreds of other project workflow forms available in the Adoddle App Library and issue them to team members directly from your tablet with direct and automatic links to the relevant parts of any file or model. The Adoddle platform maintains a full and complete audit trail of all communications as a project progresses.

3. Adoddle aMessage

4. Adoddle Navigator
Adoddle Navigator is a user-friendly desktop application that allows you to upload 2D and 3D files and collaborate with Project teams. Adoddle users have the option to synchronize information locally while working offline on the native applications before signing-in to Adoddle and publish them as revisions.
Adoddle Navigator integrates directly with Autodesk Revit and facilities exchanging data from 3D BIM Collaborative environment such as COBie (Construction Operation Building Information Exchange). Users can connect all project data to models regardless of their BIM Authoring tool. With a centralized storage of all versions of your models in a collaborative online environment, users can harness the power of Big Data and extensible toolkit for Collaborative BIM.

Discontinuing ‘Apps’ tab within Adoddle Navigator from next release: The ‘Apps’ tab within Adoddle Navigator will cease to be available from next release version 20.8. |

Notes:
Updating the applets does NOT require Administrator permissions on the local machine.
Clicking on ‘Always’ option when prompted with a certificate will ensure that similar prompts do not appear for current as well as any other applet signed by Asite. If this option has already been activated, these updates will be automatically installed.
Adoddle Navigator installation / update requires administrator rights.
JRE Version – Adoddle platform to support JRE 1.8 and above.
Support for IE 10 discontinued. Minimum requirement is IE 11.
Support for TLS 1.0 discontinued. We currently support TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 (Support for TLS 1.1 to be discontinued from next release i.e. Adoddle 20.8).
