We are pleased to bring you our new release Adoddle 19.0 which has exciting new features as well as bug fixes. We are particularly excited to announce support for Custom Attributes in configuring trigger conditions for Adoddle Visual Workflow.
Adoddle 19.0 Release New Features and Key Enhancements
Ability to enable QR Code at folder Level: QR Code usage is made more flexible for drawings and documents in PDF format. Adoddle users with the appropriate folder permissions can now enable QR Codes at folder level. An option to enable QR Code on first page or on all pages is also available now.
Setting to Control Subfolder content visibility: Organisation Administrators can now control if the Subfolder content should be displayed by default or not whilst viewing a Parent Folder.
Sharing Adoddle Link Enhancements: Adoddle users will now be able to specify specific number of views and if the link should show always the latest version. Also included is the ability to control if the recipient of the link should be able to only view the file or be able to download too.
Searching made easier: Adoddle now remembers the last used filter, thus making searching very easy. This can be enabled within the filter option from the user preferences section.
New Privilege to Control XRef uploading: A new privilege called “Can Publish XRefs” has been added within the role privileges section. Only users who have this privilege will be able to upload XRefs.
Support of Scripting in Visual Workflows: Adoddle Advanced users can now configure complex system tasks by writing custom groovy scripts.
Other Platform Enhancements:
Download option for Public Folder link: Users will now get an option to download a file which is not supported by the viewer while accessing a public folder link.
Performance Improvement: Search Querying and Indexing performance has been optimised.
Support for Japanese Language: Adoddle now supports the Japanese language.
1. Adoddle Web Application
Adoddle provides a unique and comprehensive set of capabilities in a single, unified environment in order to manage your Drawings, Project Schedules, BIM Models, Reports and Apps and share information across teams spread over different geographies.
Adoddle allows teams to access, capture, track and re-use data throughout the lifecycle of an asset from Feasibility to Facilities Management.
The following Section provides further details of the Improvements and New Features added to the Platform.
1.1 Adoddle Files

Option to clear action due date while assigning For Information action to multiple users is also available. This saves a lot of time taken to change actions and their due dates while distributing files to multiple users. |  |
1.2 Adoddle Projects

1.3 Adoddle Reports
Web Reports Enhanced: Adoddle Reports has been enhanced to provide a better user interface and experience. The time take to execute a report has also been optimised. Also improved is the look and feel of the graphical reports. |
1.4 Adoddle Visual Workflow
Support for Groovy Script in Visual Workflows: Adoddle users can now configure complex system tasks by using the groovy script option and write their own groovy scripts. Please contact your Asite account manager if you wish to create some complex actions using Groovy Script. |  |
 | Action assigning to Workflow Originator and Document Publisher: Now Adoddle users can assign actions to Workflow Originator and Document Publisher while configuring complex visual workflows. The Visual workflow engine picks up these values dynamically based on the actual document or workflow being executed. |
2. Adoddle Navigator
Adoddle Navigator is a user-friendly desktop application that allows you to upload 2D and 3D files and collaborate with Project teams. Adoddle users have the option to synchronize information locally while working offline on the native applications before signing-in to Adoddle and publish them as revisions.
Adoddle Navigator integrates directly with Autodesk Revit and facilities exchanging data from 3D BIM Collaborative environment such as COBie (Construction Operation Building Information Exchange). Users are able to connect all project data to models regardless of their BIM Authoring tool. With a centralized storage of all versions of your models in a collaborative online environment, users can harness the power of Big Data and extensible toolkit for Collaborative BIM.
2.1 Navigator – Models Tab – Advanced Viewer
UI related changes: The User Interface has been enhanced to support high desktop resolution. Default column list now includes Document Reference field as well. |
Performance enhancements to Login & Sync: Users can save time as Adoddle Navigator login and Sync process is improved under the hood for better and quicker performance. |

1. Updating the applets DO NOT require Administration rights on local machine.
2. Clicking on “Always” option when prompted with a certificate will ensure that similar prompts do not appear for current as well as any other applet signed by Asite. If this option has already been activated, these updates will be automatically installed.
3. Adoddle Navigator installation / update requires administrator rights.
