We are pleased to bring you our new release Adoddle 18.6 which has exciting new features as well as bug fixes. We are particularly excited to announce our new feature Visual Workflow Manager.

Adoddle 18.6 Release New Features and Key Enhancements

Enhancements to Visual Workflow Manager:Adoddle Visual Workflow Manager Feature is enhanced to improve its usability. Workflow can be triggered upon file linking and a new system task of Clear Actions is added. Users now have ability to abort a workflow, receive notifications upon workflow failure as well.

Enhancements to Adoddle Navigator: Smooth and easy navigation in walk mode now possible with Navigation Panel in advance viewer. Quickly sync files for offline use by using the new Offline Sync button in top ribbon and users don’t need to set a working folder every time they try to sync files if a root level working folder is set.

Bulk Apply in Distribution Groups: Modifying multiple distribution groups made easy. Editing the distribution list and access rights of multiple groups simultaneously is now easier with addition of Bulk Apply button and new improved user interface.

Supplier filter in Catalogue listing: New Filter added to search supplier specific items from multi-supplier catalogue listing.

Focus and Reset options in Models: Advance Model Viewer in Adoddle web application is enhanced. Now BIM users can easily reset the model view to original by clicking new reset button. Further, the users can focus any model object by a single right click.

Distribute to Roles & Organisation:Now easily distribute files and forms to Roles & Organisations with ability to expand them and modify the specified actions while distributing a file, form or comment and if required, remove any members.

Parity with Classic:

The Adoddle platform is continuously being enhanced to have parity with all key functions available in Classic. Adoddle introduces the following parity functions:

Manage Users: Client Administrators having system level privilege can now easily create new and edit existing users on Adoddle from Admin tab without having to go to Classic.

1. Adoddle Web Application

Adoddle provides a unique and comprehensive set of capabilities in a single, unified environment in order to manage your Drawings, Project Schedules, BIM Models, Reports and Apps and share information across teams spread over different geographies.

Adoddle allows teams to access, capture, track and re-use data throughout the life cycle of an asset from Feasibility to Facilities Management.

1.1 Adoddle Admin

Manage Users: Client Administrators having system level privilege can now manage users from Admin tab in Adoddle without navigating to Classic. Manage users allows administrators to add new users, edit existing users, and even change their subscription.

1.2 Adoddle Workflows

Visual Workflow Manager: Adoddle Visual Workflow designer allows you to create and edit graphical workflows. Enhancements to this feature are as mentioned below:

Option to Abort Workflow: Users with required permissions users can now abort any workflow whenever required. This gives the administrators granular control over workflows

Workflow Failure Notification: Staying updated on the status of your workflows is now easy. Users with required permissions will receive an email notification in case any workflow fails to progress.

Workflow Trigger on Static Linking: Need the workflow to trigger when files are linked? Now workflows can be triggered whenever a file is static linked into a folder.

System Task for Clear Actions: Want all other pending actions on a file or on superseded revisions of a file to be cleared before it progresses in the workflow automatically? New system task of Clear Actions is now available for use.

1.3 Platform Utility

Distribution to Roles & Organisation: Now easily distribute files, forms and comments to Roles & Organisations along with ability to expand distribution list of Roles and Organisations to modify user actions while distributing.

1.4 Adoddle Projects

	Distribution Groups Bulk Apply: Modifying multiple distribution groups made easy. Editing the distribution list and access rights of multiple groups simultaneously is now easier with addition of Bulk Apply button with improved user interface.
Menu name changes in Projects Tab: Names of menu options in Projects tab are renamed to be more user friendly. Edit Project is Project, Manage Roles is User Access, Manage Form Statuses is Form Statuses, Manage Doc Statuses is File Statuses, Manage Mailbox is Project Mailbox, Assign Apps is Apps, Manage App Settings is App Settings and Invite Users is User Invitations.

1.5 Project Forms

Existing distribution list visible while distributing a form: Adoddle users can quickly view which users a form is already distributed with which actions while forwarding a form. Previous distribution list is displayed along with actions assigned to users and their statuses as well.

Draft Forms opens in Print View: Adoddle users now have an ability to open draft forms in view mode allowing users to view form details, attachments, history, action and export buttons. Reviewing draft forms and viewing draft history is now handier. If user needs to edit the draft, a click on action button will present the edit view. Additionally user will get a system prompt for reconfirmation of discard action before discarding a draft.

If user attempts to reply to a form where a previous draft exists by the same user, the system will open up the existing draft instead of opening a blank response

1.6 Adoddle Procurement

1.7 Adoddle Models

Right Click options in Models: Adoddle BIM users can now use new right click options like Highlight, Isolate, Make Transparent and Focus in object manager and 3D visualization pan. Users will be able to use these for single as well as multiple objects.

2. Adoddle Navigator

Adoddle Navigator is a user-friendly desktop application that allows you to upload 2D and 3D files and collaborate with Project teams. Adoddle users have the option to synchronize information locally while working offline within the native application before signing-in to Adoddle and publish them as revisions.

Adoddle Navigator integrates directly with Autodesk Revit and facilities exchanging data from 3D BIM Collaborative environment such as COBie (Construction Operation Building Information Exchange). Users are able to connect all project data to models regardless of their BIM Authoring tool. With a centralized storage of all versions of your models in a collaborative online environment users can harness the power of Big Data and extensible toolkit for Collaborative BIM. Adoddle Navigator supports Revit and AutoCAD versions up to 2016.

2.1 Navigator – Models

Advance Viewer - Walk Mode: Smooth and easy navigation in walk mode. Now, user can walk in or out of a model in desired direction using the new Camera Walk Panel.

This feature is currently available only in Windows 64 bit OS

2.2 Navigator – Files

Sync Now Option: Adoddle Navigator users can now quickly sync files for offline use by using the new Offline Sync button in top ribbon.

Root level working folder: Adoddle Navigator users now don’t need to set a working folder every time they try to sync any file across any folder of any project “if” a working folder is already set at the topmost level. Navigator will create a folder structure on user machine automatically. However working folders created before setting up a root level working folder will be unchanged, they will keep working the way they were working earlier.

Notes:

1. Updating the applets DOES NOT require Administration rights on local machine.

2. Clicking on “Always” option when prompted with a certificate will ensure that similar prompts do not appear for current as well as any other applet signed by Asite. If this option has already been activated, these updates will be automatically install.

3. Adoddle Navigator installation / update requires administrator rights.
