We are pleased to bring you our new release Adoddle 18.5 which has exciting new features as well as bug fixes. We are particularly excited to announce our new feature Visual Workflow Manager.

Adoddle 18.5 New Features and Key Enhancements

Visual Workflow Manager: Adoddle Visual Workflow designer allows you to create and edit graphical workflows. This tool runs on HTML5 and it doesn’t require any plug in’s, it also supports drag and drop of shapes from Adoddle repository. Based on the configured workflow core Adoddle Workflow engine runs manual and system tasks against Adoddle Platform to automate key business processes in the project.

Expand Distribution Groups: Users can expand distribution groups to modify the actions of others while distributing a file, form or comment to a group as well as if required, remove any group members.

Configurable Attribute Description limit: Capture more information while creating a custom attribute, the description field in configurable attribute now can be 250 characters long.

View parent file comments/markups: Users can now view the comments and markups created on parent file while viewing the linked files (static or dynamic) thus making the user experience more time efficient.

Search Enhancement: Adoddle search is now optimized and intuitive for better usability and user experience. The search now uses “start with” logic instead of “contain”. For example if we need to search for ‘Tent’, Adoddle will now search for words starting with ‘Tent’ and exclude words like ‘Content’. However users can still do contain search i.e. ‘Tent’ anywhere in document by prefixing a *. For e.g. *tent

Parity with Adoddle Classic:

The Adoddle platform is continuously being enhanced to have parity with all key functions available in Adoddle Classic. Adoddle introduces the following parity functions:

Project Notices: Share important project updates with all project team members in one go using Project Notices. Privilege of manage notices at project level is required to use this feature.

Share Filters: Share your filters for Files, Forms, Models and Procurement with other project users to help them save time & access key information quickly.

Adoddle Navigator is a user-friendly desktop application that allows you to upload 2D and 3D files and collaborate with Project teams. Adoddle users have the option to synchronize information locally while working offline within the native application before signing-in to Adoddle and publish them as revisions.

Adoddle Navigator integrates directly with Autodesk Revit and facilities exchanging data from 3D BIM Collaborative environment such as COBie (Construction Operation Building Information Exchange). Users are able to connect all project data to models regardless of their BIM Authoring tool. With a centralized storage of all versions of your models in a collaborative online environment users can harness the power of Big Data and extensible toolkit for Collaborative BIM. Adoddle Navigator supports Revit and AutoCAD versions up to 2016.

2.1 Navigator – AutoCAD Classic View

Changes in Right Click options in Models: Right click menu option of “Focus with Transparency” is renamed as “Focus”. Right Click options like Highlight, Isolate, Make Transparent and Focus are now available in object manager and 3D visualization pan. Now users will be able to use these for single as well as multiple objects.

Adoddle Field is a simple, easy-to-use tool that enables project collaboration with contacts and project teams on the move or anywhere on a job site. Sign in with your Adoddle account to publish and share drawings, photos, and files of any type, and always have access to the very latest set of project information no matter where your work takes you. Mark-up documents and drawings and issue actions to team members, allowing you to stay on top of time-critical review processes. View and mark-up Building Information Models (BIM) in 3D, including the ability to drill down into the components of the model and review discipline-specific elements.

Adoddle Field enables you to view and review multiple model files from disparate BIM Authoring toolsets merged into one unified model in Adoddle cBIM in the cloud. Raise RFIs, Defects / Punch lists, or any of the hundreds of other project workflow forms available in the Adoddle App Library and issue them to team members directly from your iPad with direct and automatic links to the relevant parts of any file or model. The Adoddle platform maintains a full and complete audit trail of all communications as a project progresses.

1. Updating the applets DOES NOT require Administration rights on local machine.

2. Clicking on “Always” option when prompted with a certificate will ensure that similar prompts do not happen for current as well as any other applet signed by Asite. If this option has already been activated, these updates will automatically install.
