Company Profile on the Marketplace? [Buyer/Supplier]

This article will explain the Company Profile in the Marketplace and outline the steps to set up your company profile.

Company Profile Overview

In the Asite Marketplace, every user is associated with the company they work for. Each company has a dedicated profile in the directory, which serves as a central place for all information related to that organisation.

  • This profile includes key details such as company information, services offered, and relevant classifications and categories.

  • Users are represented within the Marketplace through their company’s directory presence, rather than as individual entities.

Parent-Subsidiary hierarchies

Marketplace also supports Parent-Subsidiary hierarchies, allowing multiple Buyer organisations to operate under a single Parent Buyer. This provides a shared Supplier and Trading Partner repository, along with shared qualification, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), and Supplier Performance Management (SPM) information, while allowing each Buyer to maintain independent procurement activities where required.

The hierarchy helps enterprise organisations reduce duplicate Supplier records, maintain consistent Supplier information, and give Parent Buyers greater visibility across their Subsidiaries. To enable Parent-Subsidiary hierarchies on the Marketplace, contact support@asite.com.

Reviews

This section shows feedback and ratings given to the company. This section helps users evaluate the company’s performance and reliability. Allows buyer org users to add a review when viewing supplier’s profile. This includes:

Reviews Received

  • This section shows the reviews received by a supplier.

  • When viewing your own company profile, you will see all the reviews your organisation has received.

Reviews Given

  • When viewing your own company profile, you will see all the reviews your organisation has given to other suppliers.

Reviews Rejected

  • This section is visible to the buyer organisation only when viewing the supplier's profile.

  • It shows the reviews your organisation has rejected for a specific supplier.

  • These reviews are for internal reference and are not visible to suppliers or other external users.

Notes

The Notes section is only visible to users within the buyer organisation.

  • The Notes section is exclusively visible to users within the buyer organisation.

  • These notes work like internal sticky notes to record useful information, feedback, or reminders.

  • All users within the same buyer organisation can view these notes, making it easy to share information across the team.

  • Notes are not visible to suppliers or anyone outside the organisation, so the information remains private.

  • This feature helps teams keep supplier-related information in one place for easier tracking and better decision-making.
