View Reviews When Viewing a File

Updated this week

Reviews, once created on a file, can be viewed by opening the file in the viewer.

Follow the steps to open the required file in the viewer (with the review to be viewed). Next, click the icon at the top right.

To hide this layered page, click the icon appearing with a black background. To show the layered page again (which is hidden), click the icon appearing with a black background.

To refresh the layered page containing the reviews listing, click the icon.

To maximize the layered page, click the icon at the top right. Once maximized, click the icon at the top right to switch back the layered page to its original size.

Any reviews created on the selected file will start appearing as a list with relevant details like title, review creator, review discipline, suggested status, review comments as applicable, review creation date, file version number and link to view the list of recipients. Any private reviews on file appear with the icon, while any public reviews on file appear with the icon.

When hovering over a review, you can mark it by selecting one of the options - 'Agree', 'Disagree' or 'Withdraw' - to proceed with the corresponding review.

Users having access to the review can respond to it. Click here to learn how to reply to a comment review. Replies created on a review will appear at the bottom of the respective review in order based on the number of responses made.

At the top right of the reviews listing, you can filter the list based on different criteria.

Filters available in the first dropdown include:

  • Review Created By - All, Only by me

  • Review Suggested Status - As configured on the project

  • Review Disciplines - As configured on the project

  • Review Marked as 'Agree', 'Disagree', 'Withdraw'

  • Review with mention of - Mentioned me

Filters available in the second dropdown include:

  • Number of revisions(versions) available on the file

Additionally, you can sort the list by clicking the (More Options) icon with three dots and then selecting the 'Sort' option.
