Remove Users from a Project

Pre-requisites:

Role privilege, as mentioned below, on the project in which you need to remove users:

Below are the steps to remove users from a project:

  1. Follow the steps to define user roles and access on a project (steps 1 to 3).

  2. To remove user groups, organisations, or users from a role, click the icon next to the individual user group, organisation or user.

  3. A validation prompt will then appear to confirm the removal. Click 'Continue' to confirm the removal of the selected organisation, user group, or user from a particular role.

    Once a user is removed from a project, all their existing incomplete tasks, unread comments or reviews on the selected project are cleared automatically.
    Similarly, once a user group or an organisation is removed from a project, all the existing incomplete tasks, unread comments or reviews of the users in that user group or organisation on the selected project are cleared automatically.

Using the 'Bulk Remove' Option

You can simultaneously remove multiple users, user groups and organisations from a project. Follow the steps below to remove users, user groups and organisations in bulk from a project:

  1. From the 'Roles' screen, select the checkbox against the users, user groups and organisations to remove.

    • You can use the 'Select All' option against a role to simultaneously select all its users, user groups and organisations for removal. However, this option won't be available for the 'Workspace - Administrator' role.

  2. Click the 'Bulk Remove' option at the top right corner.

  3. A validation prompt will then appear to confirm the removal. Click 'Continue' to confirm the removal of the selected organisation, user group, or user from a particular role.

    Once a user is removed from a project, all their existing incomplete tasks, unread comments or reviews on the selected project are cleared automatically.
    Similarly, once a user group or an organisation is removed from a project, all the existing incomplete tasks, unread comments or reviews of the users in that user group or organisation on the selected project are cleared automatically.
