How Do I Copy a Folder Structure in a Project?

This article will explain how to copy an existing folder structure within your Asite project.

Updated this week

Users on Asite can copy part of a folder structure or the entire hierarchy and recreate it in another location within the same project.

Copying a structure:

  • Copies only the folders (no files)

  • Retains the existing layout

  • Can include folder permissions and metadata if required

NOTE: Folder structures can only be copied within the same project. Cross-project copying is not supported.

How Do I Copy Folder Structure in a Different Location?

  1. Select the required project.

  2. Navigate to the Files tab.

  3. Right-click on the top-level folder of the structure you want to copy.
