Flag a File

This article helps you understand how to apply a flag on your file in Asite.

Users on Asite can flag a file record as 'High', 'Medium', or 'Low'. Based on the selected flag, you can filter file records anytime later. Such a filtered list of file records can then be used to start a new workflow or to perform actions in a batch if required.

Flag - Single File

1. To flag a file, navigate to the 'Files' tab and the desired project and destination folder in which the file is published.

2. Click the icon on the files listing record to flag the corresponding file as 'High' priority.


Clear OR Modify Flag - Single File

1. To modify the flag of a file, navigate to the 'Files' tab and the desired project and destination folder in which the file is published.

2. Right-click on the file record in the listing area and select the flag option in the right-click menu.

3. To modify the current flag, select an appropriate option from 'High', 'Medium', or 'Low'. Select 'Clear Flag' to clear the existing flag from the file.


Flag - Multiple Files

1. To flag multiple files, navigate to the 'Files' Tab and the desired project and destination folder in which files are uploaded.

2. Select the required files by selecting the checkboxes in their records and do a right click.

3. To flag selected files, select an appropriate option from 'High', 'Medium', or 'Low'.


Clear OR Modify Flags - Multiple Files

1. To clear or modify flags for multiple files, navigate to the 'Files' tab and the desired project and destination folder in which files are uploaded.

2. Select the required files by selecting the checkboxes in their records and do a right click.

3. To modify the current flag, select an appropriate option from 'High', 'Medium', or 'Low'. To clear a flag, choose the 'Clear Flag' option.
