Together, Asite and Zoom enable real-time collaboration on shared content which can help project teams when working remotely or away from their projects.
The Zoom integration will allow you to start a meeting from the Asite platform.
Asite platform users can start Zoom meetings which facilitate instant collaboration and schedule meetings with other team members or stakeholders.
Meeting recipients can join Zoom meetings or calls on their Zoom App without logging into the Asite platform, allowing seamless information sharing throughout the supply chain.

Real-time collaboration – Whether viewing your project documents or a relevant form, you can immediately initiate a Zoom meeting directly from the Asite Platform without switching to the Zoom App.

Installation of Asite on Zoom App Marketplace
Prerequisites: An active Asite subscription account & An active Zoom account (Free or Paid)
Below are the steps to install Zoom in your Asite account:
1. To install the Zoom meeting app, simply login to your Asite subscription account by going to https://system.asite.com/login using your login details.
2. After successful authentication, you will be directed to the Asite Dashboard.
3. Click the camera icon in the header section (top right corner).
Note: This icon will be available at the same place throughout the application to create a meeting.
4. Select 'Start Zoom Meeting' to continue.
5. You will be directed to Zoom's login page in a new browser tab. Please enter the required Zoom login credentials and sign in.
Note: You only need to sign in to Zoom once to initiate a meeting unless you clear your browser cache data.
6. Once you have successfully signed in to Zoom, you will be asked to authorize the Asite app to access your Zoom account as shown in the screenshot below:
Note: Authorizing is only required once to initiate a meeting.
7. Click 'Authorize' to complete the installation.
8. You can confirm the installation by navigating to the Zoom App Marketplace in your Zoom account.
9. Click Manage > Installed Apps or search for the Asite app.
10. The Asite app appears in the list confirming the installation.
Start a Zoom meeting from Asite
There are three ways to start a Zoom meeting from Asite. Click on the relevant link below:
Start a Zoom meeting from Asite Application
2. After successful login, you will be directed to the Asite Dashboard.
3. Click the camera icon in the header section (top right corner).
Note: This icon will be available at the same place throughout the application to create a meeting.
4. Select 'Start Zoom Meeting' to continue.
5. A new browser window appears clicking the meeting icon, navigating you to the Zoom login page.
Note: You only need to sign in to Zoom once to initiate a meeting unless you clear your browser cache data.
6. Enter your Zoom login credentials to continue logging in to your Zoom account.
7. Once successfully logged in, your browser will prompt you to open Zoom Meetings.
If the Asite app hasn't been installed on your Zoom Marketplace yet, you should follow the steps to install Asite from the Zoom App Marketplace.
8. Click ‘Open Zoom Meetings’ to continue.
9. A new meeting page appears with the 'Meeting Topic' defined as 'Asite Meeting'.
10. Here, you can invite other users using your email account, share your screen with the meeting participants, make an audio or video call and use all other features available in your Zoom account. This enables you to start a discussion on your project topics or any topic relevant to the file or form as mentioned in the meeting subject.
11. All invited users will receive an email invitation from Zoom with meeting details, link and credentials required to join the meeting as applicable.
Start a Zoom meeting from the Asite File Viewer
2. After successful login, you will be directed to the Asite Dashboard.
3. Go to the Files area.
4. From the files listing, click the doc ref or file name for which the meeting is to be initiated.
5. The file will open in the viewer.
6. Click the camera icon in the header section (top right corner).
7. Select 'Start Zoom Meeting' to continue.
8. Clicking the meeting icon opens a browser window directing you to the Zoom login page.
Note: You only need to sign in to Zoom once to initiate a meeting unless you clear your browser cache data.
9. Enter your Zoom login credentials to continue logging in to your Zoom account.
10. Once successfully logged in, your browser will prompt you to open Zoom Meetings.
If the Asite app hasn't been installed on your Zoom Marketplace yet, you should follow the steps to install Asite from the Zoom App Marketplace.
11. Click ‘Open Zoom Meetings’ to continue.
12. A new meeting page will be opened with a meeting title: Asite Meeting: <Document Reference>
13. Here, you can invite other users using your email account, share your screen with the meeting participants, make an audio or video call and use all other features in your Zoom account. This enables you to start a discussion on your project topics or any topic relevant to the file, as mentioned in the meeting subject.
14. All invited users will receive an email invitation from Zoom with meeting details, link and credentials required to join the meeting as applicable.
Start a Zoom meeting from the Asite Form Viewer
2. After successful login, you will be directed to the Asite Dashboard.
3. Go to the 'Project Forms' area.
4. From the forms listing, click the form ID or form title for which the meeting is to be initiated.
5. The form will open in the viewer.
6. Click the video call icon in the header section (top right corner).
7. Select 'Start Zoom Meeting' to continue.
8. A new browser window appears clicking the meeting icon, navigating you to the Zoom login page.
Note: You only need to sign in to Zoom once to initiate a meeting unless you clear your browser cache data.
9. Enter your Zoom login credentials to continue logging in to your Zoom account.
10. Once successfully logged in, your browser will prompt you to open Zoom Meetings.

11. Click ‘Open Zoom Meetings’ to continue.

This enables you to start a discussion on your project topics or any topic relevant to the file, as mentioned in the meeting subject.
14. All invited users will receive an email invitation from Zoom with meeting details, link and credentials required to join the meeting as applicable.
Uninstall Asite from the Zoom App Marketplace
Below are the steps to uninstall the Zoom meeting app from your Asite account:
1. Log in to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
2. Click Manage > Installed Apps or search for the Asite App.
3. Click the Asite App.
4. Click Uninstall.
Note: We don't store any user data while integrating with Zoom.
Troubleshooting
Problem Statement - The user is not getting the Zoom login page.
You may not have permission to install other apps in their system. Please speak with your system administrator to request permission or any related queries.
Problem Statement - Every time the system asks to log in to Zoom
This may happen due to browser cache data. Please clear your browser cookies and try again.
Problem Statement – Zoom icon to initiate a meeting is not appearing in the Asite Platform

Problem Statement - Once raising a meeting, unable to navigate to the Zoom request page
Allow popup for the browser. For that follow the steps - Open browser > Setting > Allow popup
401 Not authorised error appears
This happens due to session time out on the Asite platform. Please re-login to Asite.
