This option enables you to configure the preference related to downloading files.
1. Follow the steps for navigating to user account preferences on Asite.
2. Click on the 'Download Preferences' menu option on the left.
3. Toggle download preferences by clicking the tick boxes on the left side of each option.
Below is a description of the available fields:
Document downloading:
Field Name | Description |
Parent Document | Download the main document. This option is selected by default. |
Include XRef | Download the XRef Files (along with parent files). This option is selected by default. |
Associated Files | Download the associated files along-with parent document. |
Discussions & markups:
Field Name | Description |
Associated Documents | Download the associated documents for a discussion or markup. |
Attached Documents | Download the attached documents with a discussion or markup. |
Other download settings:
Field Name | Description |
Rename Files with Doc Ref | Replace the file name with its doc ref when downloading. |
Append Doc Title | Include doc title with the file name while downloading ( Separator is _ ). |
Append Version No | Include issue number with the file name while downloading ( Separator is _ ). |
Append Rev No | Include revision number with the file name while downloading ( Separator is _ ). |
Recreate Folder Structure in Zip / Download Location | Download multiple files across different folders. It will create the entire folder navigation of Asite including the selected files and download them in .zip format. |
