'New Files Published' gadget

This article helps you understand the dashboard gadget showing newly published files.

The New Files Published gadget contains a bar chart displaying the number of files published across all the projects by time. Click here to understand how to publish a file.

Files can be viewed based on the time they were published, i.e. as of the last login, today, yesterday, and the past week.

Clicking the bar, a list of records matching the criteria appears in the Files tab.

To refresh the gadget data, click the icon. The last refreshed date and time, as applicable, will appear alongside the gadget name.

While editing the New Files Published gadget, the following details are available for editing:

Gadget Title

To edit the title for the selected gadget.

Gadget Description

To edit the description for the selected gadget.

After making the required changes, click the 'Update' button to apply the changes.

When selected, you can edit the following:

  • Gadget Title

  • Gadget Description

  • A bar chart that displays the number of files you have access to that have been uploaded.

  • By default, Asite opens the last project you worked on. This becomes your active project and is reflected in the gadget’s data.

  • If you switch the view to All Projects, the gadget updates to show the total number of uploaded files across all projects you can access.

  • When one of the bars is clicked, a list of recordings matching the criteria appears in the Files tab.
