Follow the steps to open the required file in the viewer for which the status needs to be changed.
You can change the file status by clicking the status dropdown, which opens a pop-up.
Any information related to earlier changes made in the status for the selected file, if any, will show up at the bottom of the popup.
The 'Status Change' popup contains:

Mark all User's Outstanding Tasks Complete - Complete all users' outstanding tasks (other than 'For Comment Incorporation') on the open file.
Mark all my Outstanding Tasks Complete - Complete all your outstanding tasks (other than 'For Comment Incorporation') on the open file.
Once done, click 'Save' to apply the new status to the open file. Otherwise, click 'Close' to close the popup without saving the changes made, if any.
