Create a Workflow in a Project Template (Overview)

This article shows you different ways to create a workflow in a project template.

Pre-requisites:

  • 'Admin' permission on the project template where a workflow needs to be created.

Asite supports the creation of workflows in project templates, including its different objects which include files, forms or custom objects as required. The workflows thus created can be inherited in the projects cloned from the project templates in which it was created.

1. Navigate to the 'Workflows' tab and select the project template in which a new workflow is to be created. Templates will be highlighted with a folder icon in blue colour.

2. While the project template is selected, click the 'Create Workflow Definition' button at the top right to start creating a new workflow.

Alternatively, right-click the project template name and select 'Create Workflow Definition'.

3. You can create a workflow on project templates for files, forms as well as custom objects. Click a relevant link below to continue:
