Adoddle 19.6 Release New Features and Key Enhancements

New File Viewer: We are introducing the new Adoddle Universal Web Viewer which is a compact version of our web viewer - optimized for speed, performance and cross platform support. The Adoddle Universal Web Viewer currently supports DWG, DXF, DWF, DOC, DOCM, DOCX, DOT, DOTM, DOTX, XLS, XLSB, XLSM, XLSX, XLT, XLTM, XLTX, POT, POTX, PPA, PPS, PPSM, PPSX, PPT, PPTM, PPTX, PUB, PDF, XSP, XOD, HTM, HTML, XHTML, TXT, BMP, ICO, GIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIF, TIFF, SVG file formats.

Working Days definition in Projects: Adoddle has improved its Project Working Calendar functionality enabling the ability to define working days and holidays. This integrates into the Adoddle action-tracking logic to correctly calculate due dates based on the Project Calendar.

Support for copying Workflow Definitions: Adoddle now enables you to copy existing Workflow Definition to create a new Workflow Definition within the same Project.

Search Filter for Checked Out Files: A new Search Filter is added to enable users to filter files in Adoddle that are Checked Out and/or Not Checked Out.

Cool New Features in Adoddle Field Application:

Notifications on Field App: We will let you know when you are out and about what you need to respond in good time. By clicking on the notifications for that action will take you directly to the relevant screen within Adoddle Field.

Support of Filter in Files: Adoddle Field now supports filtering of Files in the Files listing screen based on specific File attributes - Date, Doc Ref, Doc Title, File Name, Revision No., Status, Publisher.

1. Adoddle Web Application

Adoddle provides a unique and comprehensive set of capabilities in a single, unified environment to manage your Drawings, Project Schedules, BIM Models, Reports and Apps and share information across teams spread across different geographies.

Adoddle allows teams to access, capture, track and re-use data throughout the lifecycle of an asset from Feasibility to Facilities Management.

The following Section provides further details of the Improvements and New Features added to the platform.

1.1 Adoddle Files

Option to include comments while printing Files: Users printing Files from Adoddle will now be able to include comments on Files for printing, along-with comment attachments if any, or only comment attachments if required.

Search Filter for Checked Out Files: A new Search Filter is added to enable users to filter Files in Adoddle that are Checked Out and/or Not Checked Out.

Updated Java Viewer: Java Viewer in Classic View is updated to support latest version of Java.

Different AppBuilder codes for Different Form Types: Adoddle will display a message where the same AppBuilder code is used for different Form Types. This is to help ensure that such codes remain unique for each project.

Single Email for actions distributed on Form Close out: Irrespective of the number of responses created, there will be just one email notification that will be sent out to users upon distribution of Form actions at the time of Form Close out. This would depend upon whether the checkbox for Instant Email Notification is checked or unchecked at the time of action distribution.

Batch Status Change to be based on Form Settings: Changing of status for multiple forms at a time will now be dependent on the Form Setting “Restrict Status Change in View Form”. This setting will also override all the privileges that user has while changing the status of form.

1.4 Adoddle Reports

New Category for Form Association Custom Attribute: A new Report Category called Form Associate Custom Attribute is added. Report created using this Category can be run for only one Project at a time.

1.5 Adoddle Workflows

Support for copying Workflow Definitions: Adoddle now enables you to copy existing Workflow Definition to create a new Workflow Definition within the same Project.

Change in Active File Version reference under System Actions: Under System Actions, Active Version until recently was referred to as latest File Version. This will now refer to the version on which System Action is being executed.

Option to make “Revision Notes” mandatory using Groovy Script: Groovy Script can now be utilised to define “Revision Notes” as a mandatory attribute for all File Uploads on particular Project Folder.

1.6 Adoddle Field (Defect Management)

Select number of days for Defect Form responses: User will only need to select the number of days required to fix the defect whilst raising a Defects form, instead of choosing a specific date.

2. Adoddle Field

Adoddle Field is a simple, easy-to-use tool that enables project collaboration with contacts and project teams on the move. Sign in with your Adoddle account to publish and share and Mark-up drawings, photos, other files, and issue actions to team members, allowing you to stay on top of time critical review processes. View and mark-up Building Information Models (BIM) in 3D, including the ability to drill down into the components of the model and review discipline-specific elements. Adoddle Field enables you to view and review multiple model files from disparate BIM Authoring toolsets merged into one unified model in Adoddle cBIM in the cloud. Raise RFIs, Defects / Punch lists, or any of the hundreds of other project workflow forms available in the Adoddle App Library and issue them to team members directly from your tablet with direct and automatic links to the relevant parts of any file or model. The Adoddle platform maintains a full and complete audit trail of all communications as a project progresses.

2.1 Adoddle Field

Performance Improvements: Performance within Field app is optimized for creation of new Defects form. Minor improvements made in the app user interface – viewing of multiple attachments within app is more convenient via scroll option, maximized views now available for Defects Floor Plans.

1. Updating the applets does NOT require Administrator permissions on the local machine.

2. Clicking on “Always” option when prompted with a certificate will ensure that similar prompts do not appear for current as well as any other applet signed by Asite. If this option has already been activated, these updates will be automatically installed.

3. Adoddle Navigator installation / update requires administrator rights.
