Logging in to aMail in Outlook Web Add-In

This article explains how to sign in to Outlook Web to connect your email with your Asite account through the aMail plugin.

How Do I Access aMail Through My Email?

NOTE: To save emails and files from your Outlook web, you must have access to aMail, which can be requested from the project administrator.

  1. Open Outlook and enter your ID and Password to sign in.

  2. From your Inbox, choose any email you want to save to Asite.

  3. Click the Apps button in the top-right corner of Outlook.

    1. You will see aMail listed there.

  4. Choose Login/Logout from the pop-up.

  5. Enter your ID and Password in the Login window that appears in the top-right corner.

  6. Click on Login.

    1. A green confirmation box appears with the message You Have Successfully Logged in, confirming that you’re now signed in to aMail on Outlook Web.

Cloud Login

Choose your relevant cloud:

  • Asite Cloud

  • Asite US Gov. Cloud (AWS GovCloud US)

  • Asite UAE Cloud

  • Asite KSA Cloud

  • Asite Canada Cloud

  • Asite Hong Kong Cloud

NOTE: To avoid re-entering your details each time, select Remember Me when logging in.


Single Sign-On

NOTE: To enable Single Sign-on, please get in touch with the Asite Support team.

  1. Select Use Single Sign-On (SSO) at the bottom of the login screen.

  2. A Single Sign-On window will appear.

  3. Select your Cloud Environment.

  4. Enter your Email ID to log in.

  5. Follow your organisation’s authentication process to complete the login.

TIP: To switch back to traditional login, click Use Cloud Login at the bottom of the window.


Secondary Authentication via TOTP

  • If enabled, upon logging in, you must enter a 6-digit authentication code generated by the authenticator app you use (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy).

  • Secondary Authentication also applies to Single-Sign On (SSO) logins.

  • If you don't have access to your authenticator app, use one of the recovery codes to log in.

  • If 'Secondary Authentication' is enabled for your account, you’ll need to enter a unique authentication code each time you log in.

  • After entering your login credentials, you will be redirected to the Sign-In page with a prompt to enter your Valid Authentication Key.

  • You will receive an email from notifications@asite.com containing your authentication key.

  • Copy the Key from the email and paste it into the Asite sign-in page.

  • Click Continue to complete the login.

NOTE: If you don't receive the code or it expires, re-enter your credentials to generate a new one.
