Folder administrators on Asite can move a folder including its files within the same project. If certain users having pending file tasks on folder being moved don’t have access on the destination folder, their tasks will be cleared while moving.
Pre-requisites:
Permission as mentioned below, on the project folder which is to be moved:
To move folder, 'Admin' permission.
Folder permissions defined at default level or at role level can be over-ridden. Click here for detailed help (See point 4).
Below are the steps to move a folder within a project:
1. Do a right click on the folder which needs to be moved.
2. Select a destination folder where this folder needs to be moved within the same project (you cannot move folder along-with its files into another project).
3. Click 'Submit' to move the folder at the desired destination.
4. Pending file tasks on folder being moved don’t have access rights on the destination folder, their tasks will be cleared while moving.
