Folder administrators on Asite can move a folder, including its files, within the same project. If certain users with pending file tasks on the folder to be moved don’t have access to the destination folder, their tasks will be cleared when moving folders.
Pre-requisites:
Permission, as mentioned below, on the project folder that is to be moved:
To move a folder, you must have 'Admin' permission for that folder.
Folder permissions defined at the default or role level can be overridden. Click here for detailed help (See point 4).
Below are the steps to move a folder within a project:
1. Right-click on the folder that needs to be moved.
2. Select a destination folder where the chosen folder needs to be moved in the project (Note: You cannot move a folder along with its files to another project).
3. Click 'Submit' to move the folder to the desired destination.
