Links in Projects Listing

This article will build your understanding on the usage of links in projects listing.

Users on Asite can directly access key details of projects by clicking on the links found in the metadata columns. When viewing projects in a list format, any available links will be hyperlinked.

Below is a table that explains what each link in the project view does, and exactly what happens when you click it. Use this as a quick reference so you always know what to expect, even if you're new to the platform.

Link Type

What It Does

What Happens When You Click

Project Name

Opens the main dashboard for that specific project.

The dashboard for the selected project appears, and the system automatically updates your project filter to show only that project.

Status

Lets you update the current status of the project (only applicable if you have the Edit Workspace Details privilege).

If you have the required permission, the Edit Project screen opens. Here, you can change the project’s status and other configuration settings.

Files (Count)

Shows all files linked to the project, filtered to show the latest versions.

A file list appears showing the most up-to-date revisions.

Last File Uploaded

Displays the date and time the most recent file was added to the project.

Opens the project’s file list and automatically applies a filter to display only the most recently uploaded file(s).

End Date

Allows you to change the scheduled end date of the project (only applicable if you have the Edit Workspace Details privilege).

If you have the required permission, the Edit Project screen opens so you can update the end date and other project details.
