Adoddle 2D Online Viewer enhancements: The Adoddle 2D Online Thin-Client viewer is upgraded with key enhancements like support for bookmarks, the Checkview annotation tool is added to the HTML user interface and Markup toolbar, text annotation is added to the tablet version of HTML viewer, User interface changes include a new "flat" look for all themes and sample pages.

General User Interface / Performance Improvements: The Adoddle 18.2 release includes some general user interface and performance improvements in the Web App as well as Adoddle Navigator.

Adoddle Reporting enhancements: The Reporting platform is upgraded for additional functions like Gauge wizard, Pareto Charts and ability to specify Benchmark lines on Charts in addition to user interface improvements and bug fixes including improving the performance of report execution

Extending the Out-of-box report templates: Asite continues to extend the list of pre-defined report templates available that users can copy and run. New Dashboard type reports related to files and forms with multiple charts / tabular statistics with drill down capabilities is introduced. Refer detailed notes below for more information.

Parity with Adoddle Classic: The Adoddle 18 platform is continuously being enhanced to have parity with all key functions available in Adoddle Classic. This release introduces the following parity functions in Adoddle:

Admin - Role Privileges: Administrators can now manage setup new project roles and assign required role privileges. This function is enhanced within Adoddle enabling Administrators filter for required role / set of privileges that need to be amended.

Admin - Role Form Permissions: Administrators can now manage configuring the Form permissions in the Adoddle area. This function is enhanced further within Adoddle enabling Administrators filter for combination of Role, Form permissions, Form names.

Searching for Linked Files: Adoddle users can now search for files that are linked.

1. Adoddle 18 Web Application

Adoddle 18 provides a unique and comprehensive set of capabilities in a single, unified environment in order to manage your Drawings, Project Schedules, BIM Models, Reports and Apps and share information across teams spread over different geographies.

Adoddle allows teams access and re-use data throughout the lifecycle of an asset. Its powerful and easy to use interface allows you to track and capture data throughout the stages of Feasibility, Detailed Design, Construction Design, Construction and Facilities Management.

1.1 Dashboard

Project Forms: On feedback from wider audience we have reverted the tab name from ‘Project Controls’ to ‘Project Forms’.

1.2 Projects

Role Privileges: Adoddle 18 now enables privileged users to assign Role Privileges to Roles in a Project. Users can also filter Project Roles and Role Privileges to assign/ remove Role Privileges. Click here for more help.

1.3 Files

Adoddle 2D Online Viewer enhancements: The Adoddle 2D Thin-Client viewer now includes the following enhancements:

  • Added bookmarks support - bookmarks can be viewed, searched, and navigated from Bookmarks panel.

  • The Checkview annotation tool is added to the HTML user interface and Markup tool bar. This tool allows users to tag certain spots within similar documents (saved as a markup template) that require efficient review for verification of completeness (or can be tagged as incomplete).

  • Text annotation is added to the tablet version of HTML viewer.

  • User interface changes include a new "flat" look for all themes and sample pages.

Linked Files Search Criteria: Adoddle 18 now enables privileged users to assign Role Form Permissions to Roles in a Project. Users can also filter Project Roles, Role Form Permissions and Form Name to assign/ remove Role Form Permissions.

Undo File Checkout: Adoddle 18 enables users who have checked out files and users having Admin permission on folder to undo the File Checkout. Click here for more help.

1.4 Reports

Adoddle Reporting enhancements: The Reporting platform is upgraded to include additional functions, some user interface improvements and bug fixes including improving the performance of report execution

Key enhancements include:

Gauge wizard- A gauge can be displayed in a report to give visual representation for the scale of a value.

Added Pareto Charts - Pareto charts are special type of single series chart generally used to highlight the most important element among the group. The bar of a Pareto Chart will display in descending order while a line show the cumulative percentage of total.

Added ability to specify Benchmark lines on Charts - Benchmark line can be defined in Line and Bar charts.

Out-of-the-box Report templates: Asite continues to extend the list of pre-defined reports available in the Adoddle Reporting area. The list of Reports is as detailed in the table below:

This Dashboard type Report contains a chart with tabular information on the statistics of forms open over a duration.

Publisher Statistics Last 12 Months

This Dashboard type Report contains 5 different charts displaying information on the file published in the past 12 months.

Project - Upload Trend in Last 12 Months

• This report gives line chart view for monthly total no. of uploads per selected project.

Organization - Upload Trend for last 12 Months

• This report gives line chart view for monthly total no. of uploads per organization for the selected projects.

Files - Monthly Upload Count for Last 12 Months

• This report gives bar chart view for monthly total no. of uploads for all the selected projects.

Files - Organization-wise Upload in Last 12 Months

• This report gives bar chart view for total no. of uploads in the last 12 months per organization for all the selected projects.

Files - User-wise Upload in Last 12 Months

• This report gives bar chart view for total no. of uploads in the last 12 months per user for all the selected projects. This report is sorted descending.

Four types of filters are available for the user to dig deep into the data. User can also choose to drill down the charts and export the chart to XLS by clicking on the chart objects. Further, the users can also generate the XLS file.

This Dashboard type Report contains 7 different charts displaying information on the forms created in the past 12 months.

• This report gives line chart view for monthly total no. of forms created per selected project.

Forms Created - Organization-wise Trend in Past 12 Months

• This report gives line chart view for monthly total no. of forms created per organization for the selected projects.

Forms Created Group by Month in Past 12 Months

• This report gives a cumulative bar chart view for monthly total no. of forms created for all the selected projects.

Forms Created Group by Organization in Past 12 Months

• This report gives a cumulative bar chart view for total no. of forms created in the last 12 months per organization for all the selected projects.

Forms Created Group by Users in Past 12 Months

• This report gives a cumulative bar chart view for total no. of forms created in the last 12 months per user for all the selected projects. This report is sorted descending.

Forms Closed Past 12 Months

• This report gives a cumulative bar chart view for monthly total no. of forms closed for all the selected projects.

Forms Closure Past 12 Months

• This report gives a cumulative trend count of timely closure of forms per month in the form of line chart for all the selected projects.

Files Action Past 12 Months

This Dashboard type Report contains 9 different charts displaying information on the file actions in the past 12 months.

2. Adoddle Navigator

Adoddle Navigator is a user-friendly desktop application that allows you to upload 2D and 3D files and collaborate with your Project teams. You can synchronize your information locally while you work offline on the native applications before you sign-in to Adoddle and publish them as revisions.

Adoddle Navigator integrates directly with Autodesk Revit and facilities exchanging data from 3D BIM Collaborative environment such as COBie (Construction Operation Building Information Exchange). Connect all your project data to your models regardless of your BIM Authoring tool. With a centralized storage of all versions of your models in a collaborative online environment you can harness the power of Big Data and extensible toolkit for Collaborative BIM.

2.1 Navigator

Performance Improvements: The Adoddle Navigator upgrade in this release includes performance improvements with respect to model synchronization, rendering of heavy Model files as well as multiple views within the online 3D viewer

3. Adoddle Navigator

Adoddle Field is a simple, easy-to-use tool that enables project collaboration with contacts and project teams on the move or anywhere on a job site. Sign in with your Adoddle account to publish and share drawings, photos, and files of any type, and always have access to the very latest set of project information no matter where your work takes you. Mark-up documents and drawings and issue actions to team members, allowing you to stay on top of time-critical review processes. View and mark-up Building Information Models (BIM) in 3D, including the ability to drill down into the components of the model and review discipline-specific elements.

Adoddle Field enables you to view and review multiple model files from disparate BIM Authoring toolsets merged into one unified model in Adoddle cBIM in the cloud. Raise RFIs, Defects / Punch lists, or any of the hundreds of other project workflow forms available in the Adoddle App Library and issue them to team members directly from your iPad with direct and automatic links to the relevant parts of any file or model. The Adoddle platform maintains a full and complete audit trail of all communications as a project progresses.

3.1 Adoddle Field – 2D Online view

Online 2D Viewer – Thumbnail collapsed as default: Android tablet users can now view the full content of the 2D files online with the Thumbnail view collapsed. Users have the option expand and view the Thumbnail section.

1. Updating the applets DOES NOT require Administration rights on local machine.

2. Clicking on “Always” option when prompted with a certificate will ensure that similar prompts do not happen for current as well as any other applet signed by Asite. If this option has already been activated, these updates will automatically install.
