Common Data Environment (CDE)

  • Embed Updated Attributes for Files via Groovy Script

Users can now use a Groovy script to automatically embed the latest attribute information when files are downloaded (only DOCX and XLSX formats are supported). This ensures that any changes made using Edit Attributes are reflected in the downloaded files.

This script can be configured for a project as part of a workflow or as an independent system task. You can access the Groovy script here.

  • Groovy Script Support for Folder-Level Document Title Uniqueness Validation
A new Groovy script has been introduced, which validates document title uniqueness within a folder across all revisions, covering both files and placeholders. If a duplicate title is detected during upload or update, the action is blocked with a validation message. This check runs in Pre-task mode, ensuring early enforcement.

  • Security Update - Change in Asite OAuth2.0 Access and Refresh Tokens
As part of our continuous efforts to enhance the security aspects of Asite’s REST APIs and Ecosystem framework, we are upgrading our authentication service effective 29 March 2026. As a part of this upgrade, we are increasing the character length of Asite OAuth2.0 Access and Refresh Tokens.

    New Token Length: 128 Characters
Expected Impact: Access/Refresh Tokens stored within repositories or databases wherein the character limit has been specified as less than 128 characters. Similar restrictions apply to the use of Asite OAuth2.0 tokens within designated processes.
Required Action: Please ensure that the field length for storing/processing OAuth tokens is updated to support more than 128 characters (recommended: ≥128 characters or higher)
Notes: Existing Access/Refresh Tokens, already generated, will remain functional and will work without any issues.

Users can manage the visibility of private comments by allowing selected users, roles, or organisations to view them without requiring any action on the document. This feature is optional and available only to users who have it enabled at the organisational level. To enable this feature, please get in touch with your Asite representative or email us at support@asite.com.
