🔍 What is aDrive Desktop?

aDrive Desktop is a new desktop integration tool that helps you work smarter by combining local file access with the power of the cloud.

📁 Smarter Syncing

Take control of bandwidth and storage with selective sync options:
📌 For each folder, you can choose:
  • 🔁 Sync File Content (2-Way) – Keeps files updated both locally and in the cloud
  • 🗂️ Sync File Structure Only (2-Way) – Downloads folder structure only; files on demand
  • ☁️ Sync to Cloud (1-Way) – Upload local changes only
  • 🚫 No Sync – Exclude folders from syncing entirely
💡 Ideal for large projects or working with limited storage or bandwidth.

📝 To begin editing and syncing,
✅ Log in on the Asite Platform using your existing credentials

Then simply right-click on any file and choose:

💻 Option 1: Edit File Locally using aDrive Desktop

  1. 🖱️ Right-click on any file.

  2. Select 📂 "Edit File Locally using aDrive Desktop."

  3. If 🔧 aDrive Desktop is not installed, you'll be prompted to install it.

  4. If aDrive Desktop is installed but you're 🔒 not logged in, you'll be prompted to log in.

  5. Once installed and logged in, the file will open in the 🧩 desktop version of Microsoft Office 365.

🌐 Option 2: Edit in Microsoft Office for the Web

  • ✏️ Edit online directly using Office 365 Web Apps.

  • Supports 👥 real-time collaboration and 🤝 co-authoring with others.
