There are 4 different compensation event forms - 04 PMs Instruction, 05 NCE by Contractor, 06 NCE by PM and 07 Instruction to Submit Quotation.

Out of these, 04 PMs Instruction, 06 NCE by PM and 07 Instruction to Submit Quotation are created by Project Manager and are sent to Contract Manager for submitting the quotation.

In 04 PMs Instruction, there can be certain clauses under which Project Manager would be unable to sent a notification to the Contractor to submit quotations.

The 05 NCE by Contractor is raised by Contractor and then reviewed by Project Manager. If it is accepted by Project Manager, then Contractor can submit the quotation. If it is rejected by Project Manager, then Contractor would be unable to submit the quotation.

The 08 Incidents Assessment form is auto-created and not visible to the Contractor. It is a unique key to track all the compensation events. Every time you create any of the compensation event forms (04 PMs Instruction / 05 NCE by Contractor / 06 NCE by PM / 07 Instruction to Submit Quotation), it will create a new 08 Incidents Assessment form automatically. This is used for tracking information on the form that was raised - For e.g. when it was raised, when is the due date for Project Manager or Contractor, when is the due date for quotation submission or reply, etc..

Once Project Manager instructs Contractor, they submit the quotation by raising the 09 Quotation by Contractor form. They submit the cost and program changes as applicable.

10 PMs Assessment is raised by Project Manager in a scenario where they have rejected a quotation based on some reason like contractor has not submitted the quotation correctly or has not submitted the quotation since long time.
