Create an aMessage on a File When Viewing

Updated this week

Users on Asite having the role privilege 'Can Create Comments' on a project can create comments, i.e. aMessages on files published in folders under that particular project. Accordingly, users on Asite having the role privilege 'Can Create Private Comments' on a project can create private comments, i.e. aMessages on files published in folders under that particular project.

Below are the steps to create an aMessage on a File open in Viewer:

1. Follow the steps to open the required file in the viewer.

2. Click the icon at the top right to create a new aMessage on the file open in the viewer.

3. Click the 'Start a Discussion' button to open a page with different options to create an aMessage on the file.

4. A layered screen appears. Below is a description of fields available while starting a discussion, such as creating an aMessage or a comment on the file open in the viewer.
