View Existing aMessages on a File

This article will explain how to view aMessages within the selected file alongside available options.

Viewing aMessages

  1. Click the icon (top right) to view existing aMessages.

  2. All existing aMessages on the selected file will appear as a list with relevant details.


Available Options

  • Hover over the user's profile image to see details of the user who created the aMessage.

  • Click the Expand icon next to the aMessage title to open the full aMessage alongside added details including:

    • System-generated aMessage ID

    • aMessage title

    • aMessage content

    • Creation date (hover to see exact time)

    • Hyperlinks to:

      • Recipients

      • Attachments - download the file by clicking the file icon.

      • Associations - to view associated files, click the Doc Ref listed for that file.

      • Forms

      • aMessages

      • The option to Reply

NOTE: Access to attachments, associations, forms and aMessages, depends on your user permissions.


Icons Breakdown

At the top right of the aMessages window, you'll find a series of icons. Each icon provides a specific function and is explained in the table below.

Create Form

Creates a new form with the selected file aMessages automatically associated. For detailed steps, see Creating a Form with Associated aMessages.

Refresh View

Refreshes the aMessages window to display updates.

Maximise

Expands the tab.

Minimise

Shrinks the tab.

Dock Content

Pin the tab to the side of the page. (If applied in one file, it is automatically applied across all files).

Undock Content

Unpin the tab from the side of the page. (If applied in one file, it is automatically applied across all files).

Close

Closes the window.
